I was browsing facebook and i saw an officemate of mine took her picture in a closet full of shoes, i know those shoes were not hers and that closet was her boss'. They were there Last Saturday i didn't go with them.. anyways i was reading the comment and several people liked it and several people complimented it..
i saw one comment where this lady said, she also has problems with her shoes, because she has a LOT of it and she does not know what to do with it and because she has a LOT of it some she cannot even and are wearing out.
i was like huh?? how could it be worn if she is not even using it? is that possible?
anyways i really should stopped this observing thing

Yes, it is possible. And the contributing factor is the environment. Moisture from the air, dust, and sometimes bugs help wear out shoes - actually pretty much anything. I hope she becomes generous and give those shoes she does not need to people who do, but cannot afford to buy one.

Oh so that is the purpose of the silica gel, i always see those when i buy new shoes and i tend to throw them away after i use the shoes!

I have shoes as well that I haven't used yet, but they are already worn out. As pointed by the previous responses, it may be due to the temperature or the humidity. Shoes don't really last long if they are not kept or stored well. We don't have a big place to store all our shoes, so it really does worn out even before we even get to use it. I do some observations a lot of times to friends comments on facebook, it's actually not bad as long as you don't hurt anybody, well that's my opinion
