About a bunch of animals who just woke up from hibernation finding out a subdivision was built around them. So they steal some food for the next hibernation. it was a funny movie, not the funniest, but funny and cute enough.. It was more of a family movie. With voices of Bruce Willis, Garry Shandling and Steve Carell and Avril LAvigne, as an opossum.

I saw that movie and I loved it. I thought it was hilarious. It's good wholesome entertainment for the whole family. In addition to the actors you mentioned, there's Wanda Sykes, Thomas Haden Church, Eugene Levy, William Shatner and Nick Nolte as the voice of the bear. Very enjoyable movie. As a matter of fact, I think I'll rent it and watch it again.

Yes, there are still lots of other ones, although i found it hard to match the vices with the animals, since they changed it a bit.. They made it sounder smaller. I didn't even know who Eugene Levy was there.

The most memorable thing about this movie for me, 2 contestants from the reality show Apprentice, won a challenge and the reward is to do voiceovers in this movie. The moment I watched this movie 4v times, I tried to find their voices, their participation is way too short. They were one of those humans interrupted by the critters during their party. I cant believe this movie is now 6 years old. Makes me feel old. Damn I want to be 20 years old again. the sad thing about this movie, makes me realize that over population destroys homes of these animals./

Was it the birthday party? with the cake? Their part must be so small i can't even remember a party.. was it with the dog? Yeah, overpopulation really affects how animals live.. just like how those crocodiles were affected by the many families who live near their waters.

I enjoyed this movie, too. But, it makes me sad because it tells the truth. Because of the activities of man, many wild animals are losing their habitat. And, once their habitat is gone, soon they'll be gone, too.

Yeah, i feel sad fr the animals too, since our population is getting bigger and people may see it as a need to occupy the remaining wildlife places.. it's getting harder for animals to live free, since we need them. For food and pets and some people still use them a clothing.

I have watch it but it is not as funny as other animal movies like Madagascar and ice age. I love the other two movies more than Over the Hedge. Anyway they will going to screen it again on tv this coming school holiday so most probably my niece and my nephew will watch the movie..(^^)

Yes, i didn't laugh in every scene, and Madagascar was funnier.. but there were hilarious moments.. only a few, but enough, i guess. I love ice age the best, all 3 movies were funny and i can't wait for the 4th.

Yes, it is a movie for the entire family.. since it focuses more on the importance of family.. it is quite touching . A real family would risk their lives for each other, like what they did in the movie.

It is quite an old movie. It was released a few years back, in 2006, that was 6 years ago. It is available in good copies in the internet and even in renting stores.
