Is there a version of GIMP for the android phone?

I am into doing graphics images. Here recently I bought an android phone. I noticed that there really is not Luchon the way of any real graphics apps. I really like to do graphical images. I would really like to do graphics on my android phone.
Now I really like the graphics program that is known as GIMP. I was wondering if there is a version of GIMP for the android phone. If there is not a version of GIMP for then what would ne the closest app to it. I am open to suggestions.

I don't know about GIMP but I do believe there is a light version of Photoshop Elements for Android. The question is do you really think a phone has enough processing power to make image editing worthwhile? I do a lot of photography and image editing, and I would not even consider using my phone or tablet to edit images. Touchscreens simply do not have the same accuracy I get from a dedicated graphics pad or a mouse. I do most of my work on an 8 core, 8GB desktop with a 1GB GDDR graphics card in it running dual monitors.
