Heard of the latest "zombie" attack in miami?

This is creepy and scary at the same time... But I think what we should be aware is to know how dangerous drugs can do to people and what it can make you do! http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2012/05/30/security-video-shows-entire-miami-zombie-attack/ (not a referral link) The whole story was on the news link provided above and well.. The man was naked and attacked a homeless man too - and had chewed off his face causing this person to be unrecognizable. He won't stop even after several warnings and that is why he was shot by the police! Witnesses said that the man was growling and even had flesh all over his face when he momentarily faced the police but continued on... Do you think this is really something that should cause us to be alarmed? Or is this just a one off incident? Your opinions?
