all humans come from one species of ape or so it goes.but for modern man,he originated from africa.and then in the course of migrations and settlements in other parts of the world, varying diet, verying climatic conditions, man evolved into different races. we have the australoid, mongloid, aryan, negroid, slavic tribes and so forth.now the aryans lived off the coast of the black sea and then due to the flooding of the black sea some 20000 years or so[sep at the end of the last ice age] they migrated. here's the intresting bit.the split into two major groups and a smaller group according to historians.one of these major group settled in iran[ref-zoratrianism,parsees]. the other major group settled in northern india and the indus valley.the aryans bought the hindu religion to india. fascinatingly the parsee religion[ancient religion of iran, presia] and the hindu religion correspond on so many levels that historians now believe that one is not just related to the other but are rather different intrepatations of the same, like 2 sides of one coin. anyway to continue with our story the aryans invaded northern india and settled there.eventually they too moved down south.then came the arabian invasion.they invaded persia and the the original inhabitants of the persia -the parsees fled to india around 700-800ad where they remain to this day. so the original race of indo iranians were either displaced to india or were absorbed into the arabian population by either force or death. then the mughals started invading india and as a result of this many of the original indo iranian europeans[aryans] fled to the south.some of them did remain in the north of india. but here's the clincher, many of those who remained in the north as a result of forced absorption into the mughal empire either by brute force or by forced marriages, have mixed genes now.that is they can no longer be called the living link of aryans.their gene pool had become diluted to say the least. where as in the south of india you will find the hindus to be one of the most orthodox religions in the world, which is still practised with the same care and preparation as it was once done 5000 years ago[circa 3700 b.c]. where as in the north of india they still perform pujas anmd all that but they are not so orthodox as thier counterparts in the south of india.this puzzled scientists in the beggining.but then they saw how a dilution of the gene pool can actually affect ones belief system.fascianting! anyway in the north a person can actually approach the main diety and touch it,whereas in the south of india, one cannot go into a temple sancto sancturum unless you are a hindu and you most definitely would not be allowed to touch the main diety. also it is in the south that you will find most of the temples of the hindu faith unlike the north.if one were to examine the dates the temples were built in the north to those that were built in the south one should be able to see the effect of the mughal invasion clearly. after the mughals came the british. inspite of dealing with so many invaders none of whom seem able to conquer the whole of india except for the british[and even that they could not do so for long]this original indi iranian europeans[aryans] still survive today in the form of these brahmins. for a scientist they are a boon.primarily because people and cultures diffuse over time and it is very rare to generally find any race from 5000 years ago still having thier gene pool ontact.this is mainly due to two reasons.hinduism is a very insular religion.it does not promote any inter caste marriages as a matter of fact it is still taboo even today. second, like i said no mughal ruler was able to conquer south india so the brahmins married amongst themselves and the purity of thier gene pool was assured. also the british had no harmful impact as far as this went. so today if a scientist were to examine the dna of a brahmin from south india he/she wouold see that the genes are closely linked with the iranians and the russians. if one race holds such a fascinating story imagine what other fascinating stories the other races would tell us. in case you want to know more on this or research your own backgrouynd and see where you come from and to whom are you closely related pls go to the following likns, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aryan_race http://www.nationalgeographic.com

Sorry I would have to disagree with you. My belief is we were created by a supernatural being. He is the Lord and Saviour, and the God of all Gods. Sorry but I am only stating here my beliefs as well. I respect yours.
