I just had my baby girl 2 days ago and right on the due date set for me (may 29th), and I really missed myLot a lot. My daily stress reliver was out of my reach for 2 days. Nevertheless, I'm happy to have safely delivered by 6.14 lbs baby girl.
It was a new experience, although, this is already my second child. It's really true that each pregnancy is different, even for the same mother.
This time I had normal labor, and I can't really tell if it was less painful or worse than being induced. I feel the same pain and intensity. However, since this was a bigger baby than my first, the delivery was a bit longer and I got more stitches.
Despite it all, I'm just so happy I got thru it safe and sound.

Congratulations, friend, on the birth of your baby. I do hope that both of you are well taken care of. You reminded me that the first days after giving birth were really trying. Please post a bicture of her. How about placing the picture in your avatar for all of us to see?

The picture was cute, but I´m expecting a close up
. Relax and take care of her. How are you going to name her?

Yeah, I haven't taken a good picture just yet. I don't know, but I can't seem to think of taking pictures at this time. I should have been collecting shots of her firsts - like, first yawn, first smile, etc..but, I just enjoy each moment looking at her. I'm sure I'll have more very soon.
She's named Breanna Leigh, and good thing me and my husband agreed we're going to pronounce "leigh" as "ley". It was a long standing argument we had, on which should be best. I wanted to pronounce it as "lee", after most celebrities with the same name.

Yeah, first couple days after delivery was really a challenge. I'm glad I'm feeling more normal now. Most of the pain are gone and body is starting to recuperate from the trauma. I still have abdominal pains but very bearable. And, the bleeding has started to shy away.
I haven't taken good pictures of her yet, but here's one from the hospital.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby daughter. Yes, every pregnancy and birth is different for the same lady. I have had three babies and the second one was the easiest labor but the most poorly baby. My third labor ended with me having a severe blood loss. I hope that you are having a lovely time with your new baby.

It's just ironic that doctors always refer to previous birth history to make assumptions on your current pregnancy. And, then it won't really turn out any similar to the previous births.
Like, my doctor was expecting I'd be on labor at least a couple weeks before due date because that's what happened before, yet, I didn't reach 1cm till the 39th week.

Hiya jure,
Many congrats to you jure and am so glad that you are both safe and sound. Know a Woman across the Road here she was just getting so heavy and the little Girl it seemed just did not want to appear on the dates given.
Not sure whether she has had her yet but I suppose she must have done as I have not seen her around here for a while.
Her little Boy was singing her name the other night so I guess that she must have been born.
Living here makes for you having to go to the Capital to have the Baby which I find very silly when the nearest Town has a Hospital there too but there you go that is life.
My Nieces have a lot of children but none have been born in the year of the Dragon. I am a Water Dragon too and none of my kids are Dragons either.
In the Chinese Shop here there are some beautiful Dragon ornaments I can´t wait to get one.
May you both be happy and well always congrats again.xxx

Hiya jure,
That´s me a Water Dragon don´t know what colour though this year is the Black Water Dragon.
They reckon that the ones born this year are going to be very lucky.
I think I have been very lucky on the whole when I look back at somethings that have happened.
Altogether I think life really is what you make it or try to make it and being a Dragon or not I suppose does influence somewhat.xxx

Congratulations on your daughter. You had her on day after my daughter turned 16 months that is every cool. Recovery should be quick since it was a natural birth just like last time.I still got another 16.5 weeks to go but I'm pretty sure this little guy will come in August and not in September like he is suppose to.
My family got a surprise this week already. We found out that one of my husband cousins well she isn't having a girl but another boy. So she'll make the 4 one of us having a boy don't know about the other cousin yet if she is having a girl or not.

Thanks, mercvict. Yes, the family was so glad it was a normal and safe delivery. We were already worried that we may have to go CS because we were expecting a bigger baby and my BP started to rise. Thank God for everything.

A huge congrats to you on the birth of your baby girl. Both my pregnancies were different but the labor was much the same except with my first child it was 8 1/2 hours and my second child it was 5 1/4 hours. With my daughter she was one day past my due date and she was 8 lbs 3 oz. I had an episiotomy and I tore really bad. I had 5th degree tears the worst you can have. It took them an hour and a half to stitch me up. With my son he was two weeks early and was 6 lbs 15 oz. I didnt tear at all with him. I was bleeding really bad after though I'm not sure why but they had to give me a shot of pitocin to help decrease the bleeding. It made me have really bad contractions after the labor was over and I almost vomited with the pain. I never want to have to be induced and have to take pitocin I think it would be horrible.

Even their size has a very big gap. Same as mine, more than 2lbs difference.
The length of labor was somehow the same for me though, even if I was induced on my first and normal this time.
I could still remember the tear felt when I did my last 2 pushes. I couldn't imagine how harder it would have been if she did grew more than 7lbs, as detected by ultrasound.

Congrats to the new blessing in your life.
Goid that you gave birth on the exact due date given cause usually it is before or after the particular date gave by the doctor.
Another happiness in your life.

Thanks.
My doctor stripped the membranes a day before and good thing labor started a few hours after. We had to let the baby out soon because it may just get bigger and my blood pressure is starting to rise.
