it is not allowed to use the air conditioner

there are so many things i can't do at home. now i can't use the air conditioner. i am not using for myself, i am using it for my father because i don't want him to get sick. although it is raining now, but the rain has stopped and the sun is out there again. so it is quite hot again. i just turned on the air conditioner to cool down the room as it feels hot inside. as to follow the doctor's advice to turn the air con for my father as he needs it. so i don't know what to do when my mom would oppose a lot of things to save money although my father needs it.

Well i can advise you to use A.C only when its urgently required. A.C's do consume lot of power which adds up in the electric bill. But this should not happen at the cost of your health. Just to save your bill, A.C's shouldnt be used is a bad concept. Health is wealth and steps should be taken to protect your health from the potential hazards of summer season and if it demands usage of A.C then you should convince your mother to turn it on.

Oh, that is sad, 
even though you are only doing it for your father's health.. WHy not buy him n electric fan instead, it consumes less electricity than the air conditioner...or you could just fan him, or let your mm do it since she is the one who is prohibiting you.
