A garden suitable to open for charity

Last summer I enjoyed visiting two gardens open for charity. One was in the same area I live and it was a lovely tropical looking garden. It was recommended to me by one of my favorite plant sale nurseries. Wow, it took my breath away and I loved seeing it. I hope to visit it again this year when it opens in late July. The other garden was in a town twenty miles away and it looked tropical and exotic as well. My kids loved playing in that garden with the three kids that lived there. This year a few other tropical looking gardens I plan to visit. They all have different dates over the summer. I did hope to make my garden special enough to open for charity. I made it look pretty last summer with a summer house, arbor and some tropical looking plants. In the winter the horrible weed horse tail grew and I am having trouble keeping it away. My garden doesn't look as pretty as it did last year. My grass has had a dry time and looks patchy. Alas I won't be opening my garden for charity but I can still enjoy others. How about your garden? Would it be suitable for a charity event? Do you have any problems with your garden?

What a lovely idea. My garden is open to volunteers all the time, and we run courses here. I'm not sure it's the sort of place people would come to relax though!
