he really disappointed me today. i try really hard not to have any kind of expectations from him, but i let my guard down. he told me that he would go to church today. he claimed that he wants to change so he doesn't loose his family. i go to work, my friend tries to get him up. all he said that he was getting up but never did. i recieved a text from my friend saying that he wasn't getting up. i told her to just go ahead and go to church. unfortunately, my trainee was taking longer than usual so we ended up not going to church either. now, i'm home. he's still in bed asleep. i'm hoping that he'll stay asleep till i get back from taking my daughter to work and my son to my sister's house. i've got to find a way to deal with the disappointment.

I don't know the situation so I won't begin to judge it, I will say I'm sorry for the disappointment. I hope he does go to church next week, or makes some effort to Praise with you.

thank you. i was really hoping that he would turn a new leaf in his life and make ours for the better. but, i guess he didn't hear God's memo. eventually, he will hear it. God and I will just keep waiting.

Hi @angelwithkids! I am sorry that you experienced this kind of disappointment. I had a similar experience like you with my hubby. But one thing I learned from that experience is to never expect. I always make him aware that I will be happy if he goes to church together with us but he seldom does. At first, I am really disappointed and sad. I just pray that he will someday go to church with us like he usually does. I thought that God is a very understanding God and I don't want to force my husband to go with us if it is against his wishes and I know that God will not like that either. So, I just pray and waited and my prayers were answered because he started going to church with us every Sunday to hear mass. I believe in the power of prayers and I know that God must have touched his heart.
