Great Monday everyone. Back to work again. Some schools are back to school again especially those who are in elementary and high school and traffic on road/street is quite heavy now.The usual travel time from house to work is around 45 minutes to an hour but today is almost an hour and half due to heavy traffic. At least I don't still get late and just arrive just in time but not as early as I used to come in office. It is also raining today. We saw many students going to their school to learn again. I better leave the house a bit earlier to make sure that I won't be late cause there will be lots of students who will commute also. Do you experience same thing today folks?

Just as i expected it will be traffic on the first day of school, ardoy. Luckily, i don't experience it, because i am just at home , courtesy of my special leave availment for two months. I still have one month of vacation. Yes, better make sure of going to work earlier than your usual, lest you will be late and be deducted for it on your salary.

Yes that time is rush time for everybody in a hurry to go home, so that some company adjust it up to 9pm which little bit light traffic.

I think 5-6, is the usual dismissal time of the 8 to 5 jobs. That explains for the traffic. Everybody wants to go home already.

And here, it's a public holiday today; so traffic is a lot lighter than usual this morning and feels like it's still Sunday.

It's Foundation Day celebrating the first time British settlers came here... The next day it's raining for the first time this winter here, and all we wanted to do in my house was just to sleep in... But kids have their exams this week, and their parents have jobs to go to... Enjoy the rest of your week...

Hi Ardoy, I live outside of a major city. The traffic is pretty heavy on Mondays. People leave earlier to be sure to arrive at work on time. Have a great day!

Hi ardoy! We have the same situation here. I woke up very early today so I can go to office earlier since I have just finished my two-months training, but my daughter insisted that I should have to go with her at school since this is also their first school day for this year.

Hi, the traffic in my city undergoes the same experience on each Monday. Usualy it takes me half an hour to go to work by car. But on Money, i have to leave about 20 minutes earlier for the extraordinary heavy traffic. It is a very strange phenemenon, but it has become a daily truth. Just get used to it. Have a nice Monday~

Hi there, We cannot avoid such situation specially back to school or even not yet school time every road are heavy because huge vehicles and add to that the un-discipline drivers, and cumuters. The best way to avoid little bit traffic is being early in the road. What do you think is there possible solution?
