i stopped mylotting

I was on mylot in our bedroom, when my husband arrived from work last night. Much as I would still like to respond on a lot of discussions, I stopped, so I can assist my husband in whatever things he will need.
And sure enough after he has eaten dinner, he wants a big glass of juice with lots of cubed ice and have it in our bedroom while we watched TV and shared stories in between. We also looked for recent pictures of our daughter who is in the far metropolis studying, on her FB. He also requested that I searched for some topics he will be speaking about on their next meeting. I gladly searched for them in my laptop, while he was beside me in bed resting. 
At that moment, it’s what is best among the things I should have been doing.

Awwww that's really nice to hear. I wish I could experience that too right now, just be with my boyfriend and have quality time with him. He is so far from me right now and I miss him so much.

I will actually tell him that. I tell him that all the time because he is always busy reading and checking e-mails from work back in the states whenever he is here. I hope when he comes back we can make the most of his vacation

I thought something happen in mylot that makes you upset and turn you off from mylotting, like what happen to my friend Tamirs who never came back here because of some mylot user that have bullied her on some of her discussions

I am sorry that Tamir got bullied here. I too, once or twice was insulted by one or two of the mylotters. From then on, i took note of these people and never ever participate in their discussions.
Though, i don't see them here anymore, after that.
I also told one that i was insulted and reported him to admin.

You don't have to fight back my friend, it will get you nowhere. They don't want to be defeated in their discussion.
Better just leave the discussion, or when they are really too much, you can report them for bullying.

Hi there,
some really are a bully here and some are a little like a stalker LOL. But I just report them to the admin and also sometimes I fight back when it is too much.

As long as you enjoyed your time with him and helping him there is nothing wrong with that. It's great to spend time with the ones we love and enjoy their company and laugh with them.
You still find time to do all you need and mylotting as well so that's wonderful!

I am always at Mylot whenever i am done with the household chores here in our house.
I am on leave from work, since i was operated a month ago, so mylot becomes my companion.
Thus, when my husband arrives from work and i am still at Mylot, i would hurriedly stop to attend to him.

That is quite a loving attitude As a hubby I would say that this is the best thing that can happen as it is indicative of the fact that the wife still loves the hubby after so many years of marriage.
Though my marriage is quite young (only 5 years old) the distance at the moment is making things look gloomy for me. But I am sure when my wife arrives this weekend, things will be much much better than what they are right now... I am feeling all so alone for the past so many weeks

Oh yes, sids. That's one way of affirming my love to my hubby. and it's one way of keeping our love alive always. Attention to each other.
Well, make sure that when your wife comes on weekends , you have your full attention too, sids. Make up for the days when you don't have each other.

I really really hate when I do stuff this, i mean who starts crying in front of the screen? when i should really be a mylotting!! Then go on to write it in public. You are very very lucky SIMplyd, I’m happy that you are loking after your hom e life and well God blessyou.
I guess every now and then you hit one of those discussions that just touch you deeper than most and you can’t help make some comment like this..wish i had what you have

Being married and presently on leave from work because of an operation a month ago, i have all the time in the world to be at Mylot.
It's just that, i have to attend to household chores first , before i mylot.
At night, we would eat early in the evening because husband arrives later from work. So after our dinner, usually i'm on mylot again. But when i hear the gate opens, i know my husband has arrived from work, so i would stop mylotting and attend to him of course.
Duty first before pleasure, my friend.

Personally being able to spend time like this with your husband is important. There are times being here online has to wait, and when you can spend some quality time together as a couple, that is a plus for sure. There are many times I have given up time for being here to spend with my husband just talking, and relaxing and enjoying being around him.

We always monitor our daughter's activities and new photos on FB, at night. She has gone back to the far city already for her Medical studies.

This is the definitely the best thing for you to do.It is good to spend time with your husband when have time because,after his works and tight schedule,he will surely look to you for a companion and tell his stories and you would do the same.Stopping mylot form some time would not hurt.Anyway you can do mylotting in your leisure time when your husband is not there.

That's very true my friend. It's only at that time that my husband gets to bond with me, so i stopped mylotting.
And if i hadn't stopped mylotting, i know he will get annoyed with me.

I have had to stop MyLotting in order to take care go things. But I always find the time to get back on here. There is something about MyLot that I cannot stay away. It has to be something real important to keep me away, like my kids coming for the weekend or if my eyes start to bother me. Other then that I will make time for MyLot.

Glad to hear that you spent time with your husband. That is a really good thing. As our family relationships are so important to us. I usually try to keep myself busy with mylot and other online activities while my husband is busy. Then we spend time together in the evenings with our daughter.

Yes, we can go to Mylot, if ever our husband and child is not yet home . But once the are home already, it's time to be with them in full attention.

As a wife, we have the obligation to assist our husband whenever he comes home from work. He is tired and one way to alleviate his tiredness is assisting him in eating and in anything he requests.

I agree with you that spending time with your husband is much better use of your time than spending time on the myLot.
I enjoy talking with the peoples on here, but I also enjoy spending the time with my S.O. In fact, many times when I am on the myLot, my S.O. is also on the myLot, too, right beside me. We have the fun this way.

I love quality time with my hubby!!! Time goes by too fast to be on the computer all the time. With work and every day life it is hard to have alone quality time with my hubby so I cherish every minute of it :)

Yes, that's how we are in life, specially if both of you is working. So take the chance of bonding specially at night while resting.
It's the best time to be with our hubby, so don't do anything more like mylotting. It can be done some other time, when he's at work perhaps.

Yesterday I planned to be on mylot and post on several discussion too, however, my wife called me and informed me that she will be on 24 hours duty in her hotel. I got no choice to pick up my son from my mother's home after completion his piano training there. My baby boy wish to go to maternal grandpa's home, but I wish to let my baby boy stay closer to me. I take him into our own home. I let him play with other kids inside the small roundabout of our residential area. I took him home, and watched the movie on Star movie (maybe HBO, I can not remember), the movie is the Mask of Zorro, baby is thrilled to watch that. After watching the movie, I took him to shower, and went to sleep together. It is a quality time just between me and him.

Nothing can compare to the happiness we feel when it's for the family indeed.
