Why do I bother anymore?

I asked this older lady I use to work with if she wanted to go out with me. This lady rare gets out and the guy she is upposeable dating is a truck driver. She hangs onto this guy and she hasnt seen him in months. His days off he spends with anyone but her. She just got a job at Walmart, she has been getting more hours than expected. She has tomorrow off, and so do I (well afternoons). I asked if she wanted to go out, and her reasoning is she has to get up Wednesday at 7am, also that she was off the week before with an eye infection, and she has no money until payday. I told her not to the bar but even out for coffee or ice cream. She had the same excuses, and I told her to forget about it. I just dont understand why make excuses just tell me to my face. I dont know why I even bother asking anyone to go out with me since I already know their answers.

You are probably better off then. Probably if you were to say, "hey! I'm paying!" she would probably go with you. I wouldn't ask anyone unless they were a really close friend that I deal with on a regular basis.

I dont think she would to be honest She borrowed money from me in the past, and the very next day gave it back. She is every siimilar to me in many ways, I just think if you cant afford it just or dont want to dont make excuses. I mean she had a list of reasons, all she had to say was I dont have any money right now maybe after next pay or something.

Some people are just homebodies and hardly if ever like to get out. I am sort of that way but not as much as I used to be. I know I could be difficult to get to out with as I always had an excuse. She'll either come around or she won't but I wouldn't bother with it anymore.

Im more of a homebody myself, and rarely go out. This lady is more of a partier even at 65 years old. I think she is just mad that I had to work the last time she wanted to go to the bar.

To avoid being rejected or denied, let the girls asked you out. :-)

That could work as well. I will stay home and relax with the pets while online. She always wants to go to the bar, and I simple asked to go for a coffee. I think we are just at different aspects of lives, shes more of a partier.
