Good day Fellow Mylotters,
Just a quick one, for the past few days, I was able to gained friends. Friends that I have met online and offline. Well, it could have been an answered prayer since I am really looking forward to have one. Luckily I met few. But there is still one friend that I am looking forward to communicate to. And also, looking forward to have a chat on her as well. Not to mention, that I am also looking forward to meet her personally so we can be really good friends for life.

Hello Sheila,
There's nothing impossible to gain a real friend thru the internet.Some online friends can be a true friend indeed.
Its about how you and her gonna spend time with each other,communication of course the most important to develop a real friendships.
I hope you can have what you are wishing for.

well, i am pretty looking forward to have real and true friends. that i am always asking God's guidance for me to meet a real and true friends. and you are right, communication is really an important thing in order to build a better friendship and this is also applicable in all other types of relationship.

Would you believe if I tell you that my closest friend are those people whom I met thru internet?
It's been 5 years since our friendship started from one social site and we decided to see each other in person.
We all lived here in metro city but from different cities and few are from nearby town/provinces.
The farthest is from Cebu, who is also a mylotter (neildc- we've met in person during the Phil Mylot first conference)
Also another mylotter "myles" we are seeing each other when we got time -she lives in nearby town south of Manila.
And the longest friend I have is also a mylotter "bhabycatch" - we've been friends for more than 5 yrs now and going strong.
We see each other almost everyday- eat-stroll-fun and a lot more.
We also meet other mylotters who did not make it to the conference...
Online friends can be real friends in real life...do not hurry- it will come at the right time.

i do believed in what you have said. after all, true friends cannot be gauged either you meet them online or offline. with regard to what you have aired, how i wish i can also join the next mylotter meet-up. so i can able to gain more friends as well. hence, it is prettier to talk to someone whom you already met personally. but, i do also find it interesting to talk to online friends as they really give me appreciation as well.

I do believe there are still true friends present in this complicated world. But looking for them is not my type of action. I just interact with the people I met at school, in my organizations as well as online. And that interactions usually ends in a great friendship. There are people around you that wanted to be friends with you, you might just tend to ignore them for you are looking for other people that fits your standards. Take time talking to them, knowing them more and learning to be friends with them.
