I hate my job and reasons are.... 1) I have two boss, one is the big one and the second one is his son, Both have a habit of barking at every one with small reasons. 2) I was appointed to do marketing job but now i'm looking at A) Accounts, B) Labor, C) Marketing D) Day to day things. 3) Staff is illiterate and i'm not doing well with them. 4) I love to do what i know and if i don't know the thing which my boss is telling me to do i do it wrong and boss barks again. After all these reasons i wana quite but i can't coz my boss is paying me well and I'm still unable to find a job which pays the same. Plz tell me what should i do, I'm very upset.

If you want something to change...it must be YOU who is the change. Having a different attitude is the answer here. Why? Because it is the only thing you have control over. You cant change your bosses, or tell them off, you can't really leave because of the money so think of anything about the job that is good, even if it's Friday afternoons. So, that's two things...think of some more no matter how small and keep them in your mind instead of how awful the job is. Hang in there.

All most very company have this or that problems. Like me , i have too boss too,one is the man, the other is his wife! They have different opinions and made us hard to work. If you care about the salary, you have to bare their rude, if you don't, go any time!

Hmm.. I know how it feels.. I say, if you cannot handle it anymore, you had better quit. Try find alternatives how to replace the payment he paid you. It's not good for you working under that stress too long.. Just find other place, and go..

With the job market right now, I suggest you to hang on it until you find a alternative, or a second one. Patient is the key here, and you still have to pay bills or mortgage right? Hang on to it, and you will find a second one probably pay a bit less than this one, unless you are happier.

I see, you have many reasons why you want to quit your job. But the thing is, all those reasons are tolerable if you only look things differently. So your boss attitude is he always bark and his son has the same attitude. Let them be, you cannot change them anyway. Learn to dance with the music, meaning learn how to deal with them. That is a challenge for you so take it and do not run from it. Your staffs need you. if they are illiterate, help them improve. It's the reason why you are there to develop them and make them more productive. Once they have learned, you just made a carbon copy of how you work and you will surely love to work with them. If your responsibilities are not what was agreed, talk to your boss, for sure they have good reasons why they let you handle those tasks. It seems they trust your capabilities enough. Take it as a way to broaden your knowledge in different areas of work which you do not used to do. If you do not understand what your boss is trying to instruct you, ask some clarifications, do not be hesitant to do it. That way, you will avoid getting a mistake and a bad bonus of barks from him. They pay you well so I think you should stay until you find another good job.

I know it's hard to work someone like this but you should just keep reminding yourself of the paycheck and try to block the barking. In the meantime, keep your eyes open for another job. I think that is what you are probably doing. If you quit, your situation will just be so much worse. Hang in there and pray for a new job to come available for you.

I think your bosses are both rude and i don't think talking to them won't help at all. If they pay you well and they pay you enough for doing all those jobs and you think you're well compensated then just stay a little longer until you find a good job that could pay you more. It's not easy to find a job right now and the economy is not good. Try meditating and try to block out the negativity at your work. Try to research on meditation to cleanse your mind of those that drag you down at work. Hope this helps.

I know it is difficult to stay at a job you cannot stand but I think you should try to stick it out until you find something better. For me I would rather go down a little in pay and be happy at my job rather than be miserable every single day. To me, no job or money is worth my unhappiness. I hope you find something that will make you happier soon. =)

I'm feeling the same way. But the thing is, I haven't completely started yet as I'm still serving my 30-day notice of resignation in my current work. I feel that I don't want to work in my new job anymore. I think I want to look for a new job again. I want to quit but I need to earn money to support my family. My new boss is my friend, and I don't know how to tell him that I don't want to work for his company anymore. But I'm willing to try. But if there would come a better opportunity, I'll go for it.

I suggest you that you should quit that job and join any other company even if the salary is less. i thinks money is not every thing. you have to stay happily in your life. if you dont like your job and scare your bosses then your days will be unhappy and full of tension. you cant even enjoy your food. even you wake up from the bed you will say in mind that "o my god!!! i have to go for work today" So dont stick on such jobs. do the job that you loves even the salary is less. you can enjoy your life and every moment in life.

If I were you,I wil go on,because of the high income, maybe this is the society,it cann't cover everything as you want it to be,the things i can do is just adapt to it,adapt to society. As for the rora of the boss,it's too normal,my boss like your boss, barking everywhere, maybe it's the common of bosses, donn't think it too much.
