My iPhone battery drains too fast!!

A few weeks ago I finally paid for the replacement iphone since my screen was beyond shattered. I got the same phone, an iphone 4. I was really excited because for the first time in months my screen was perfect again. However, I noticed that the battery life isn't so great. I don't remember having that problem with my other iphone 4. I don't even use it that much during the day either, just a few texts and that's about it. So I don't see why the battery would die so quickly. If this continues I might have to go to Apple again and see if there's anything they can do to fix it. Has anyone else experienced this problem with their iphone 4?

Few different models of iPhones I've used had same problem... It seems like either hit or miss, I've heard people who don't seem to mind or don't have problems with theirs... Then there are people, myself included, had nothing but problems with iPhones... That's one of the reasons why I ditched iPhone... Check into your system settings, one of the settings might be different...

Thanks, I'll have to take a look at my settings. I've never had problems before with iPhones and this is the first time I've had a brand new iphone that gives me issues. It's very annoying. I'll check the settings and if that doesn't help, I'm going to have to take it to apple. My other iphone started off with a pretty decent battery life until it got older and it would drain quicker, but not as quick as the one I have now.

Yeah... When a buddy of mine changed his settings, it seemed to help him... Few things to look for are; light settings... Brighter background lights, faster battery drains... Bluetooth settings... If you're not using Bluetooth, try to leave it off... WiFi setting... If you know you're not near the wifi spots, try to leave it off... Otherwise, your phone's gonna be constantly looking for wifi... Background app settings... This one's technically not a setting but when you're not using an app, close them out... Push the home button twice & it'll give you the list of "open" apps on the bottom... Try to set the mail to pull, or manual, option... I'm sure you know about these settings but just an idea...

Yeah, I try to remember to close out apps every once in a while because I heard it drains your battery. My screen brightness isn't very bright but I will try to do the bluetooth thing because that's one of the settings I didn't know about. Thank you!
