Buying a car

I'm a UK resident but I study In USA. Can I buy a car and drive it despite of being a non US resident?

Yes. There are licenses for foreign drivers that will allow you to drive in the U.S.

Only if you have money, you can buy a car in any country, I think. However, you need to get the driver license at least. Why don't you consult the Police Station of the local city?

Sure, as long as you have the money, you can buy a car in the United States of America, lawrence204. But as someone else mentioned, driving it and insuring it might prove your undoing. I do believe that the United States of America recognizes an international driving license, but I'm not so sure. You may want to check the details on that, and definately on the insurance.
