Have you ever felt like you have reached your limit of stress you can take?

Yesterday I had reached my limit. I was so tired from all of the stress of yesterday that I went to bed early. I usually try and stay up late so that I can get online and house work done. I ended up going to bed at nine. I would have went to bed at seven thirty if my daughter had been tired.

Oh yes some days I feel that way and it'll either get to the point where I just explode or I get really cranky and just go to bed like you did. For me I think some times others leave things just for me or they do things that irritate me not know it does till later and I start yelling at them about it. I know for me some times being a stay at home mom its not easy. I deal with a lot of things and being pregnant again with all these emotions it makes a wild roller coast ride for sure.

I'm sure that it does. Yeah I don't know why so many people think that being a stay at home mom is easy. There are so many things that need to be done and taking care of our children is a full time job in itself, not including everything else we have to do.

Nope its not easy at all. I know I don't do it all but some days it certainly feels like I do everything from taking care of my daughter to washing clothes and doing the dishes. Some times I just want to scream or have time to myself. I know my husband has his stress but I have mine too. We both try to find time to just chill out and be like potatoes which isn't that often. We take turns having time to just ourselves. I know I"m not supper women. I've gotten to the point where I just stopped doing certain things till my husband gets home and have him self me out and that has taken out a lot of the stress. Tonight he told me he has a new found respect for his mom. For a while she was just raising him and his two sister on her own because she divorced my husband dad. He says he now knows how hard and stressful it must have been for her to do everything and go with out certain things for her own children. She must have wanted to scream or cry some days. I know I feel like that some days and there is the two us.

I've often felt as if I just can't take any more stress, but then things get worse and I find I can cope with whatever life throws at me.

I'm glad that you have learned to cope with the trials you have faced. It can be difficult to handle things especially when they escalate. That's when I start to get really frustrated and overwhelmed. But eventually I just have to learn to deal with whatever it is that is happening in my life at the time.

Yep, (most) all of 2012, has been VERY horrible, so far. Watched the movie, "Saint Ralph", twice. When I am down and out, I listen to music, watch a movie or read a book. I haven't watched Cable since April 2010. DVDs and VHS only.

I'm sorry to hear that this year has been awful for you. I'm glad that you have things that you do when you are down that makes you feel better. Yeah we only get movies from the library or the kiosk machines. We don't have cable either it's too expensive. Lately my daughter has been really fussy and that has been stressful. So my mom is helping out with her so that I can get things done. I need this little break.

Yes, I already felt that I have reached my limit of stress most of the time because of the nature of my work. When I reached it I felt like I going to lyi down on the floor and get some rest for awhile. But most of the time I go directly to the bathroom and take a warm bath to help myself and muscle to relax.
