hello friends, We all love our school days , isnt it? we have most of the memories with that phase of life, our first school, first day in school, our friends( nursery friends). The teacher plays a very important role in our life, especially in the tender age, when we just start looking at the society (world) ,the teaching of the teacher, and some teachers are really close to us, we like them very much and we always try to talk to them. some of the teachers teach really well, they dont need books to teach, they inspire the children a lot, we remember them life long, i think "The best teacher always teaches from the heart and not from the books", friends what are your memories ,regarding your teachers, and school, what do you think of the quotation ? plese share your memories.... thank you

The best teachers are those who are able to teach each child. Not label them, not do it by the books, are not going for the great records. The best teachers are those who are creative, able to explain the same subject in 20 different ways if necessary till the message is clear. I don't think such teacher do exist much. Most are not interested, not creative or flexible at all. It all has to be done by following the rules. It's already proved more and more kids have stress (thanks to school) and the way schools are educating doesn't fit to the kids anymore since long. Same with the teachers. Also it's already known since years (over 50) there is too much nonsense teached, info you will never use in your life and too less what you do need.

Hi prashu ! yes you are absolutely right and i too realized those things during my school days.I went through of such kind of behavior of different teacher. Some were very rude and strict, where other believed to make a student understood and learned only by caring and loving them.... Till 8th standard i wasn't so good in my study and i always got scold from my parents, teacher and all and i had accepted that i never could be a good in my study but i was wrong. After i got promoted to 9th standard i met a teacher who really changed me,actually the change wasn't only for the method of his teaching,it was his polite, loving and caring nature.who brought out my inner potential and ability and exposed to all.

I agree, the best teacher teaches from the heart. Some teacher only teaches because it is their profession/career and they are obliged to do their duty. But the best teacher is someone who care what their students learn because that matters to them.

Being teacher is a hard job.Lots of patience is important and passion too.I love my teachers way back in school cause they taught me a lot things and learned a lot to them. There are so kind and nice. There are times that they become so terror but it is for our own good and for us to take schooling seriously cause it is for our own good in the end.So kudos to all the teachers in the world.

I remember my law teacher during my college years who asked the class during our first meeting, this question: "If there is a separation of the church and the state, why did the Philippine government spent millions of pesos for the coming of Pope St. John Paul II?" Nobody raised a hand to answer the question. So I raised my hand after several minutes because it seems as if he is really waiting for somebody to answer the question. First impression lasts, he never forget me even I had very few subjects under him in law. He would call me by me maiden name every time we met accidentally in public places.

hello friend, yes the first impression always works, but i never got the answer to this ,as to why the teacher always remembers the students who got the best impression, they even give the example of those students to ,the next batch students and so on, but i even noticed some teachers, who are very rude to the students

I remember my English teacher who taught grammer very interestingly and it is in the higher classes and still today I remember her teaching. Because of her I do well in English grammer. Likewise many teachers are more memorable. They would be in memories even years pass by.

i think that it is important for teachers to love their job, maybe not every day. everyone has bad days and bad students but i agree with your statement.

All teachers have different means and methods to exposing their students to what they have to teach them. Not everything can be learned solely from a book. experience is a great teacher and what a person carries in their heart can be one of the best experences to express to the world. There are many ways to teach and it doesn't have to stop at the written word.

That is really the thing isn't it, some teachers actually know what they are teaching and don't have to rely mindlessly on the book that they have right in front of them. Anyone can just tell students to read such and such page and then do such and such assignment, while throwing some notes that anyone could have written on a projector right in front of the class. However, a teacher who is able to actually have a brain beyond the textbook and actually can impart knowledge on the class, making the material come alive, that to me is a good teacher. I mean, if you just rely on the textbook, then you can just throw out the teacher and replace them with any random person you pull off of the street. Teaching from the heart is a quality that has been lost over time, sadly. But it should be appreciated and encouraged.

I think the best teacher is the teacher who makes hia students close to him. Respect him but not afraid of him. and all of those because he teaches from the heart..

Well most of us really passed school life. The memories that I like most are during my elementary and high school days. Most of the teachers at that time teaches from their heart as I see it. They were even like mothers or elder sisters/brothers to us. During my early school years, I think there were only 2 or 3 male teachers that I had. I only experienced during college life that teachers really teaches from the books. I thought most of them did not mind their students' performances.

You are right... the best teachers teaches from the heart not from the books... In my school, my maths teacher was a teacher like that. She teaches the subject so nicely so that every body can understand even the difficult problem. because of her, my Favorite subject was maths. she was the favorite teacher to all the students in the school and she also keeps a good mental relation with all students. any student can open there mind to her. I really respect my maths teacher.

Definitely that quotation is really true . Experienced teachers can share so many things apart from what is in the text. Because they have the years of experience, training and exposure to all kinds of situations. I have a teacher way back high school days and up to now, I really admire his ways. Inside and outside school. He practices what he preach, so to speak. And until now, he is my friend and soon to be my godfather to my wedding.
