because wearing shades on my eyes does not seem cool on me. but because of the sensitivity on my eyes last week, i was thinking if the dust did affect the condition of my eye. or any thing on the environment. but anyway, i will think it about it. and will observe the condition of my eyes. if my eyes would do well now with my drops and would keep on improving without the need of wearing shades then i will just go without shades. but i do still feel like wearing shades if only it will look good on me. so i may try to try out some shades that will look good on me. if i will try to go out on a mall and try to try out different kind of shades. if something looks okay on me then i will buy . if none looks cool on me then i will not wear anything. not unless it is very necessary.

My problem with wearing shades is not about how I look wearing it but how I look after taking it off. Once I used any kind of shades, it would create a visible mark on my nose right under my eye so I would only use shades if it really needed like when the sun is really hot.

Hiya hotsummer, There are times when sunglasses that are made by prescription can come in very handy as they are properly made and graduated to protect you properly. I won´t have any problems if I have to wear them. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out what shades meant I have never heard them called that before so now I know something else thank you for that. Well they don´t look that fantactic on me either but I know more than one here who´s eyesight has been almost cured for wearing the right sunglasses the graduated ones I mean. Way I see it is you can´t buy a pair of eyes at a Supermarket can you lol? Hey if I make any mistakes here writing it´s because I am writing looking away from the screen itself as I don´t like the glare either. xxx

My reason for not wearing them is different than yours. I just don't like how they feel on my face! LOL However, I will wear them anyway, especially when I drive, if needed. Otherwise I tend to avoid them if I can as they can be quite uncomfortable. Happy mylotting!

Protect those precious eye - Better save now than sorry later
If the dust and sunlight is hurting your eyes , then better invest in a good shades to protect those essential organ of your face. Better take care now , than suffer later when your have dry eyes and such .Wearing shades also mean more comfortable for your and maybe safer to drive round with your eye well shielded rather than expose to the harsh environment .

Hello hotsummer Like you, I am reluctant to wear the shades, too. At least when I am out of the doors on the outside of the dwelling. Sometimes I will wear the shade in my ancestral dwelling if my friends are over and we are playing around. Or sometimes when I am playing like the dog with the collar of shame on his neck, and I will put the shade on my head as sympathy for the dog. But to wear the shade out in the public would be too the humiliating for me and I will not do this. But on the movie you see the drunk people at the party wear the shade.

Not sure why you both think "shades" (or sunglasses) aren't cool. . .everyone wears them in the US and they are a big fashion statement. Some sunglasses can cost more than a watch! And they really help protect your eyes. . .
