Hello Misfitlady56 It is perfectly dreadful to hate your job in the way that you describe. I was once in a job where I felt like that and it was complete misery to be there and to pretend that all was well. I was very depressed about the job. It sounds like you are, too. I finally quit that job and started over. I started a new job, one of my own invention. Everyone said that I was crazy, but it was nice to be able to do what I wanted to do. It was very freeing. Liberating. One thing I did not, do, however is touch my retirement. I am glad that I didn't, because I know that even though it's not much, it is better than nothing, and nothing is what I would have had I used it. Instead, I started my business slowly, and built it. Since then, I no longer do that job. In fact, I am starting over once again. Fortunatley, I have discovered that I don't mind doing different things as long as I am not stuck in that living he1l that I was in before. I hope that you are able to find some relief.

Thank you so much for some encouraging words I probably will stay where I'am at for now and just keeping looking for something else.

It is really hard to work when you hate your co-workers, haha. It seems that everyday is a sacrifice for you. If this is the case, go ahead and follow what you want and could make you happy. Or you could take a break so you can think right.

I really don't know what to tell you. Right now, there are many people out there who would love to have a job, and you are lucky to have one. You could quit, and see what else you find out there, but you might not like anything else that you find out there either. If I were you, then I would wait a while to see what else might pop up, and then take it from there.

I'm sorry to hear that you hate going to work. The only suggestion I have, if you really want to quit, is to look for and land another job before leaving the one you have now. That way you won't be without a job when it's time to leave this one. Good luck! Happy mylotting!

Hiya misfit., At the moment I don´t work as such but I have done in some really awful places too and I can relate to that. But try to hang on as much as you can. How about doing something different those days that you have to go to work there? Try to feel happier even though you are not for as long as you can. Try to change your routine around a bit before you go out to work put the radio on do things that distract you if you can. Read or watch anything that can distract you from that dreaded feeling of every day. Get interested in something that will make you look forward to doing something different of course it has to be up to you. You have heard of stop and smell the roses try to do just that. Seeing as I don´t know you it´s kind of hard to really know what other things might interest you I mean deep down. xxx Chin up gal it does not last forever.xxx

If you're miserable and you hate your job already, I think you should really consider looking for another job first that you are sure you will be happy doing before you leave your job. It's a good thing to look first for alternatives than being vacant for a long time waiting for a job opportunity to open for you. It's really not good for you to be in an environment where you don't wish to stay and where you don't enjoy going.

I used to feel that way because of my direct supervisor who doesn't like me. She told me on face that she really hates me. We are in the government service and most of my friends advised me not to resign as she is not the one paying for my salaries. I had no choice too because I have a family to support my husband having no permanent work. That happened years ago and I still feel the tension between me and my direct supervisor but I just didn't mind it as long as I have done all my works well. Don't get tired of your work, you have to love it. Learn to love it again and then you will not be tired of it. I had passed that feeling. Good luck.
