I heard this over a certain local radio station:
A conversation between a grandfather and his grandson:
Grand father: Life is very hard nowadays! During our times if ever I went to the supermarket, I can have the following items with just 20pesos (approximately $.50 or 1/2 dollar) 5 kilos of rice, 5 cans of sardines, 5 cans of corned beef, 2 kilos of sugar 2 packs of coffee. But now...
Grand son: What about now, grandfather?
Grand Father: Now it's so hard for me already! They put surveillance camera all over the place!

I thought Gramps is buying everything in just 20 pesos it turns out he's doing something else to get those items.
Yeah its tough for shoplifters right now since there's a lot of CCTV around a market place. Oh well technology is greater now than it was before right?
