egg rolls

I really love egg rolls and I really want to meake them myself. My mother use to make them for me when I was young. I wanted to know if any one could tell me how to make them? Please!! Not the egg rolls that we have here in america either but the real deal!!! I do like the egg rolls that are at the Asain buffet but they are not the real thing to me well not like the ones that my mother made for me. She had gotten the recipe from on of her Asian friends and they were so GOOD!! They had more meat in them than the ones that the Asian buffet had. Thanks to anyone who can give me a good recipe.

You just took me to my old memories of Kolkata where we had a vendor who used to sell different egg rolls i.e. stuffed in potato, chicken etc.
Back there, they used to make omlet and stuff it in a chapati (made with Plain white refined flour), just check at; allrecipes.co.in/recipe/493/kolkata-egg-roll.aspx

you must know that we cannot give each other recipes in discussions here, except for general ideas as it`s against the rules. But you can check online and you will find several good recipes. Start with a site called "allrecipes". From there you can start seeking and trying different recipes until you find exactly what you want.

So you love Chinese egg roll more than that of America. That's nice but I think I would love it the other way round. Try using any search tool bars and type to get the recipe as I really do not know about how to make them. Hope you find the how to make it and after the preparation, you share with your buddies in mylot to taste. Cheers Nikki3
