Have you ever imagined a Christmas season without Santa cluz or the Xmas tree. What feeling can it live to you and what impression will it leave. Will it be the most memorable Xmas or will be the one you would want to forget soon? We all know the color these add to the season, what do we expect to get if they are absent just for a season?

hi chikezie! when i was a child i experienced a few christmases as you describe...my siblings and i were never allowed to believe in santa claus because of my parents' strict religious reasons, and we never had a tree at our home, just at our grandparents home because they did not have the religious strictures...as a result i grew into one of the biggest christmas decorating fans imaginable! i love christmas, trees, santas, christmas music, christmas movies, giving gifts and i even married on christmas eve! i have had a lot of happy christmases as an adult, but feel sad when i remember those childhood moments as i just did not understand why we couldn't celebrate like other children, and frankly, i still don't understand...

I spent so many Christmas without Santa Claus and Christmas tree. In fact, even without something to eat during the Noche Buena. I would be perfectly fine without it since I think that putting up Christmas tree is just a part of tradition. But I would feel the other way around if malls don't have them.

I think Christmas is all about celebration and Santa Claus, Christmas tree, songs, cakes, etc do play part in the Christmas. I cannot imagine a Christmas without Santa Claus and Christmas tree. I love Santa Claus and Christmas tree very much and I think it is fun to celebrate Christmas with both.

I wouldn't care if they were absent. I never believed in Santa and Christmas trees are only interesting the first few years. After you grow up, they all look the same.

For me a Christmas without a Santa or a Christmas Tree is still a Christmas. I really believe that even without any gifts we can still call it a Christmas. The only thing that is not present are the physical things which will eventually degrade or vanish. I always believe the it's about bonding with your loveones or your friends. After all without CHRIST, Christ-mas will not be complete ;)

I think Christmas would still be Christmas without Santa Clause or a Christmas Tree as long as the spirit of sharing and caring is prominent on that season.

Hi Chikezie, as what I know there must be story of Santa Clause and Christmas Tree related the great festival. It's familiar to me to see these stuffs during Christmas season. We would know Christmas is approaching when the wonderful decoration of Christmas Tree as well as Santa Clause and other lovely stuffs like colorful little twinkling electric bulbs are seen in the shopping malls, commercial buildings, etc. If without such jewelly typical stuffs to boost the festive atmosphere high. And to electrify the people to welcome the great festival I haven't come across Christmas without Santa Clause and Christmas Tree so far Happy posting

For me, it won't matter at all. I pass most of my Christmas time without Santa Clause, and without Christmas tree too. It just not a big deal for me though. I still make my living, and I still struggle to make myself happy and all that. So, With or without Christmas, it was just a tradition. As long as my family being together, I won't worry about whether we have Christmas or not.

Well I think without this things the new year wont be so happy. In that holidays we get together with our families and friends and have a nice days with them. And also without Santa Cluz or Christmas Tree than there wont be Christmas season. I think that this is a holiday that we gather with friends and family and exchange gifts. We just get together in these days and have fun!
