Being new to online businesses, there are a lot of terms and things that I am still learning. HYIP.. is it really a scam or not?? The other day, I just made a decision to invest. But then something went wrong that's why I was not able to do it. But now, again I am planning to invest. But my friend just called me a while ago to think it over and over again and be very careful. Can you please share to me what's this HYIP is all about and I would also love to hear any experience/s you had with this. Thanks!!

hyip is more risking than betting,so donot invest that amount which you cannot afford to loose, instead of that invest on some good business

Well I also used this HYIP sites and yes there is a big risk. Also there is a rule which people says that you must put money that it is no more than 10% of that you get because if you lose all than what? I also used them and can tell you that there is no HYIP program that haven't became scam. They can be 400 days old but they just went scam. I have earned a lot but I also lost a lot. So like I say it is your choice and you have to be careful and check the big forums did they pay. Also now most of the sites use only Liberty Reserve which is really hard to put money in. However there is a way and if you really won to use that kind of way to make money be sure what are you doing. It is really fast but it is really risky!

As some people have told you hyips are extremely risky and you have a better chance of losing your money than gaining any profit. I would not recommend it as a good way to make money. Having said that, I must say there are those that do make money, but they usually have a technique they use to limit losses and they only play with money they can afford to lose. There are other safer places to invest your money. I have a couple that I use now which I am very happy with. If you send a friend request, I'd be happy to share that with you as well as help you understand some other terms you might run into.

Anyway, I did appreciate your thoughts same as the others who have shared theirs.. Maybe in time, I'd be able to know those safer places you are stating.. Have a nice day ahead..

I've been scammed by HYIP twice so I no longer dare to invest there. I was not able to get my money back, not even a single dollar. The site just shut down and there is no one I could turn to. I learned my lesson after that. I only do online jobs that do not require me to invest.

That's good thing to know. Fortunately, what I'm happy with is I've learned a lesson before I invest to any HYIP. My mylot friends are indeed so generous to share their thoughts and experiences.. And by the way it includes you.. thanks for the thoughts.. I did appreciate it.. And sorry for your loss, but it's I think good in a way that you have learned a lesson from that experience.. We must really think so hard first before doing anything, right Paper_Doll??

I have never seen a legit HYIP... Ever! They do not exist... They just cannot exist. All they really do is pay the first members with the money of the last members to join, then quickly close down. Then they start it all over again with a different name.

That could be so possible. Hmphf!! But I think there are still HYIP sites that are paying as of now.. you must really have to choose properly then. But then again, these could all turn to scam afterwards.. that's so risky, isn't it..

I'm sorry about your loss but somehow you need to check the sites you are interested investing before you do. How come none of the 10 sites paid you? I've invested in 3 and only one turned scam before I got my money out. I invested 3 times and only the last went wrong...

For real Hyperearnings?? you have not got even once cent?? that's so sad.. I think you must really choose the good sites to invest your money. But, anyway, I am not promoting HYIPss.. but something like better than that sites. And I think so.. they are all a team of scam. I will definitely avoid joining there. Thank you so much for the comment Hyperearnings.. I did appreciate it. Thanks also for sharing your experience. I did learn something..

I would not recommend to invest any money in hyip sites. If you want to do it anyway make sure you do your due diligence and research the sites that are performing best and paying: get to forums and know what is going on! Do not invest more than you can afford to lose and good luck ;)

Thanks for the thoughts.. I did realized a lot of things.. yes!! you're right.. I should have referred to anybody or any reliable source in order for me to get ideas on it. I was actually overwhelmed with the comments I received from this discussion. It made me decide immediately on my dilemma for about 3 days now. Wew!! at last!! I can sleep well now..

All HYIP schemes are scams! The gamble is to decide if the site will disappear tomorrow or in three months time - and can you get your invest back in time. Never risk more than you can afford to lose! Think about getting your investment back first - not a huge profit! You will get better odds betting on the horses. Or right now, betting on football results of Euro2012.

Yeah!! the quote you've stated just hit me.. but in a good way.. At least I've realized this before I've made the decision again. You're right!! And I am so grateful for your shared thoughts. The business is not that sturdy. It may fall soon or sooner anytime. It's not really a good business at all. Thank you so much Petersum!! I did appreciate your comment.

I am the right person to answer you.Once I invested 300RMB for an online school called Learning Bean which is about venture training,money-making,success-sharing, language-learning and so on, serving people from age 22 to 60 mainly. So I became one of the investors of the school. But I still need to work hard to admit learners who hand in tuition so the school will profit. I take half of the profit from the boss for each student. If no investment, I can only get 20% profit for each charged learner. So you can understand, HYIP is a way to make money, but remember four things:1?choose a promising field which you are interested in; 2?work hard to produce achivements; 3?invest but be careful;4?never believe money come from nothing.I am stll doing that business now but I'v started my own translation online company already. By the way, I am a teacher and translator.

HYIP stands for High Yield Investment Programe. Compared to the normal invesment program such as from banks and unit trust, they offer high percentage in returns. majority of such HYIP sites are considered scams cause when you look at it, if you invest 100USD how and where do they find the money to "reward" u with a 200% return for example? even a fixed deposit in banks in my country offer around 2 - 3% for a 3 months investment, even a legit bank or trading don't offer such high return. that is what one of the things most would have to think about.

Thanks for the comment Elguardian. I did appreciate your thoughts. Before joining into business, we must really be careful and of course be very smart. You're right!! even in our country, some banks offer not as high as those with HYIPss.. I must really have think of that first. Thanks for making me realized these things.. Have a nice day ahead..

i would say this all depends on what site your going to use. before you choose to invest on any site you should research that site, ask others about it and ask if there is a better one. i have never been scammed on a investment site yet simply because i do my research..

Thanks for the tip.. I am actually doing this most of the time if I have doubt on a site. This is indeed one of the best thing to do before joining any site. I have also discovered the sites that updates me if the HYIP is still paying or not.. I guess you've also known this already.. Well, thanks again!! and Have a good day..
