share my thoughts about the match. first off, let me say that i've made some crazy loot betting on pacquiao to win in his previous matches. the biggest wins that i had when betting on pacquiao were his wins over hatton, his 3rd match against morales, and his match against oscar dela hoya. to go against one's golden goose is downright crazy but i'll call it as is. we all know pacquiao's exploits. how he was distracted in his last fight because of marital strife and in-fighting among members of his training team. he has turned away from gambling and has stopped his womanizing ways. although, one would argue that he never did admit all his past dalliances so why is there a need to stop? lol! for all the good things that pacquiao has said he has done so far with his life, i say good for him. we've seen how many athletes have tasted the sweet success of fame and fell by the wayside because of the wrong choices they made in their lives. if pacquiao maintains his stature in life even after he retires from boxing, then i'm sure we will all be happy for him and his family. pacquiao has said so himself, he wants to impress his fans in this fight. in previous fights, he has talked about putting on a good show for the fans but in this fight, there are talks coming from him and coach roach about going for the knockout. fine and well. i'm a boxing fan first and foremost so seeing a knockout in this fight will suit me well. now, going back to my reason why i bet on bradley for this fight, i think he is the most complete fighter that pacquiao has faced in a long, long time. bradley is younger, has a longer reach, and i think has the power and boxing fundamentals to hurt or at the very least frustrate pacquiao. other things to consider is bradley is a counter-puncher, a volume puncher, and comes out of the gate earlier. he doesn't need two or three rounds to 'feel' his opponents. manny is known to be a slow starter. definitely this will work against him. another thing that has me betting on bradley and the under in this fight is the stance of both fighters. pacquiao is a southpaw, bradley an orthodox fighter. their stance are opposite each other and there is a great likelihood of an occurrence of a headbutt happening. the fight could be stopped early if either one fighter suffers a nasty cut from head clashes. anyway, it should be a great fight for all the boxing fans out there. my final plays for tonight: .5 unit on bradley to win .5 unit on the draw 1 unit on the under 9.5 rounds i know that i'm going against the grain but if i lose my bets so be it. so fellow mylotters, what's your take on the pacquiao-bradley match? if you made bets, what were your bets and how did you come up with your bets? feel free to chime in as its always good to share insights with fellow boxing fans out here in mylot. cheers and happy mylotting!!!

I'm not betting on the fight, but I believe that Timothy Bradley has a really got shot at winning this fight. He is super hungry, and has wanted this fight for sometime now. Since he is undefeated and has a lot to prove, I don't think he is going to lay down at all. He is definitely going to fight. Bradley is a great fighter and has great technical skills. I think that if he uses them and doesn't get into a slug fest with Pacquiao, I think he has a great chance of pulling off the upset. If he tries to go toe to toe and trade punches with Pacquiao, I think that he will get knocked out. Regardless of how it turns out, I think it's a very interesting and intriguing fight.

just to give an update. there is a delay in the fight. apparently, pacquiao wanted to watch the tail end of the boston-miami nba game before getting gloved. he just came back from watching the game, he is in his locker room now and just getting gloved. the nevada sports commission allowed manny to some leeway for this. really weird. so 'un-manny-like' of him.

pac just getting gloved now in his locker room. hbo commentators talking about manny pacquiao's life in the philippines. him being a politician, an actor/host, and just being regarded as an icon in the country. they also talked about pacman and freddie roach's relationship. roach said that when they started they had a student-teacher realtionship. afterwards, they were co-equals, and now, roach has admitted that he works for pacman now. anthems being sung just now. winding up the phil national anthem.

Wow! While I was reading your feeds, I felt I was watching a replay. Anyway, I still believe Manny really won this fight. But thanks to the great money makers in this boxing business - the decision was a shocking one. I won't go into full details because I know you have your own set of eyes and I'm sure you have watched it eagerly several hours ago.

yo! yeah, watched the fight again for the fourth time. past three times, i've watched it without audio. the commentators tend to sway how one views the fight. i still have it manny winning the fight. maybe not as lopsided as the scorecards of lederman but there's no question that manny won that one. anyway, i wrote my thoughts about the fight and the result in another thread. you had replied to it already. for those who hasn't seen it yet, here is the link, http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2667383.aspx. thanks for participating and happy mylotting!!!

I never do bets, i am just not one up for those. As for fights of pacman, i honestly lost interest in his fights. As for this Bradley fight, i believe it was "cooked" planned... or some says mafia is into this. It was a give away fight, it was like pacman was only playing and when one would review his previous fights that if morales,barrera...it was way different. then again, i never really enjoyed boxing.

Hi allen0187, I think you have a good point. For me, I'm used to go all the way to pacquiao. But for know, I have some reservations, mainly - many boxing experts and as I look at it say that pacman already loses his killer instinct because of the changes that made him a better man. He is more religious now. Other thing is that is is older than bradley. Age can make a difference. One more, I have learned that he has a problem on his knees, he always got this sprain, and possible on the edge of getting arthritis or even muscle atrophy. They should give extra care especially that he has plans of retiring not so soon. But, I'm giving pacquaio another chance to redeem himself from the past Marquez fight.

hi mikyung. i can see why you mentioned that pacquiao has diminished his killer instinct. his last fight fights have gone the distance and have all been decided via decision for pacquiao. i can say that in those matches, pacquiao could have knocked his opponent but he didn't. i would say that age didn't play a factor in his match against bradley and although, there has been a concern with pacman's legs/calves, it hardly showed in this match.
