I was watching this show of a professional burgurlar who breaks into cars and houses. I've never had anyone break into my house, but in college while in the city I had a few attempts of both the house and my car but I woke up and called the cops. I couldn't imagine waking up and someone standing in my bedroom at me. Now I'm sitting here scared out of my mind wondering. Even though I have 3 dogs sleeping in the bed with me I'm just alone in the house sort of gives you the creeps.

There have been break ins that were close enough for there to be some kind of concern to say the very least. Of course, at one time, most crooks tended to not want to break inside the house where people were inside. and most certainly not in broad daylight, but now they are bold. Times are rough which makes home security far more important than it has ever been. There are times where when I am solitude and I just jump at the most little of noises. Of course, there is nothing there but I keep everything locked and secured. Just because you are paranoid does not mean that they are not out to get you. Therefore, you are just going to forever be standing right there, waiting, preparing to see what will happen.

This is why I don't watch shows like that...

You've got to get your mind off of it. Trust me I've creeped myself out being the only one in the house before. This house has a lot of noises and such that would scare you just thinking about it. Turn on some soothing music and get to work on here, just get your mind off of it. I've let my mind wander and ruined my whole time of peace and quiet before.

Breaking into your own work might be illegal unless it is your own store. Just kidding not what you meant . I've seen the show you are talking about though all his stunts are possible, some are very unlikely, for example he had one where he put all the things he stole into a recycling bin and claimed that maybe the neighbors will say 'oh hes just taking the garbage'. Most neighbors if one communicates with them regularly will say hi to the stranger who is at your house taking the trash. However, the show does tell you how to prevent these things after, so you would learn to beef up some things in your home . So don't worry too much about this, just be a little cautious
