I just watched The Queen's Jubilee Concert on ABC TV. I am glad that it was re-broadcast becauseI had to work the night that it was originally shown. It was excellent. All the musicians, which included Paul McCartney and Elton John, did a great job They were excellent and the Queen looked beautiful.
I felt like I was watching huge concert in The United States and had to remind myself that the show was taking place in London. I realized that all concerts seem to look alike. The audience, the stage, the musicians, the singing along, the dancing .... One concert looks pretty much like another.
To make it more interesting, we have borrowed the colors of England which are Red, White and Blue. The Union Jack is Red, White and Blue and so is the flag of The U.S.A. The national anthem, God Save The Queen, is America's God Bless America.
So in celebration of The Queens Jubilee, God Save The Queen.

I think that it could be found on YouTube although I have not checked. It was a great concert. As I watched it, I was reminded that all over the world, there are large concerts. And how alike we all are. The concerts look the same from one country to the next.

I was watching The Belmont Stakes and just happened to check my interactive guide to see what was on later. I was thrilled to see that the concert was being rebroadcast. I had to work the night that it was originally broadcast and I have been trying to find it on demand. I think that you could probably find some of it on you tube although I have not checked.
I made an embarrassing mistake in my discussion that I am unable to edit or add to. The song "My Country Tis Of Thee" was borrowed from "God Save The Queen" or at least the tune was.
it was a great concert and tribute. Very moving.

I watched the concert and I enjoyed the performance of Paul McCartney and Elton John immensely. I was surprised that the Queen stood on the stage with the artists when the firework was played. I thought the organizer should have arranged for her to sit on a chair as she is not young anymore and that she should keep a respectable distance from others. It was funny when Price Charles called the Queen "Mama". It was a good show.
