my phone is just an old school but it is still working fine. it was bought when touchscreen was not yet popular or introduced in the market. so during those times it was one of the most expensive phone at $250. anyway, it is a colored phone but with small screen and not actually comparing to the cheaper phones we have now but with lots more advanced or better features. anyway, i always have some newspaper at home with many or different ads about cellphones. just seeing those pictures, it makes me feel like wanting to try a touch screen phone again. so i am not so sure if i should save money to buy or just save the money.

I know how you feel. My phone is maybe three or four months old, but it's going on the fritz again. It doesn't store what I need it for. I've thought of going ahead and splurging on a smartphone. I can buy a smartphone and get my phone number switched over, and still pay the same I pay now. I'd just have to buy the phone. It's about $200.00 the one I want though so I'm waiting and seeing. I may end up buying it though as I've had a smart phone and they are fun.

My younger brother would give me his iphone 4 on December when his phone plan is over. So I don't plan to buy a very expensive touchscreen. But I'm not fond of iphone for some reasons. But I would still use it though just to show off to other people or to friends. But I want some cheaper touch screen of my choice and preference. There's a local brand of phone here that offers a touchscreen phone worth $100. It's quite popular brand now locally. It's called myphone. I don't know what exactly is the model. Maybe it's one of the newest model they have released.

hey hotsummer, I am sure you will make the right choice for you. I am sure when you have saved enough money to purchase a new phone, you will discover that being that your phone that you have now, still works, you can spend that money on something else... Remember if its not broken, don't try to fix it...

Indeed I would need to save a lot of money first. Since there are so many mobile phones to choose from that it's quite difficult to choose the phones I would want. I'm not really planning to buy a very expensive phone as there are so many cheaper touch screen phones. As long as I would enjoy using it I would be fine with it regardless its a cheaper phone.

Of course a newer model and better features cell phone would be better my friend, but if what you have at the moment is still okay for use in communicating with other people, i think you can still wait. But if you really want to have another, there are plans from some networks that offer high end cellphones at an affordable monthly rate. I also learned that once you have paid your phone under a postpaid plan, and you renew it you are given a free phone as reward. Some of the plan holders sell these at a lower cost. Actually, my officemate offered me one when she renewed her plan and was given a free phone but i refused because i could not afford it for the time being. My cellphone is a very old model but still durable and useful.

It all depends on what use you have with your touch screen, I brought Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus few days back and I really loved it. I can't play many games in it as compared to Galaxy S2 or S3 but it's a good mid-range Android mobile. I would rather suggest you take a note of what you need in a mobile and search for different mobiles features, after sorting out mobiles search for it's reviews, you will get an answer. It was hard for me to choose a good smart phone for the budget that I had but I am happy with the choice I made .....

I use to try and keep up with the latest phone but find that cost too much and most importantly, I loose phones alot. So now I stick with the same old phone. One day I left it in a Wal-Mart bathroom and went back in there to find it. My friend was laughing at my saying that my phone is so old that nobody wants to steel it. if there's nothing wrong with the current phone, don't waste your money on new ones.
