Why is it the word choice always pop up when it comes down to someone's life?

I mean really, these days life is quiet expensive. No ONE would want to live under the bridge or be a toilet cleaner for the rest of their lives. I saw so many answers about how life is a choice, well NOT REALLY! I don't choose to be in the middle of the war happening in my country that I have to alienate myself and save my self by moving to a safer country to get a better life. Which therefore I had to start from zero again while I've had a better life when the country wasn't at war. So why should I be complaining about how hard life is, because my life is hard, I don't really choose to wake up early in the morning and wash someone else's toilet for a living! Yes I have education, yes I can get other job other than cleaning but it's not my fault that I don't flaunt my body to get a connection to an office job, it's called opportunity but who wants to give me an opportunity? No one, I've had experiences in other industry and yet I could easily get rejected because I am not one of the employers race, believe me I have applied a few jobs with a qualified experience and degree yet I don't get the job. I mean how do they know I am not capable of doing the job if they haven't seen what I can do? Inconclusively, I'm just saying that life isn't always about choice, I've made the right choices in life (I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, I finished my studies, I helped people on the street, I gave a kidney to my mother, I do all the things considered to be good) and where is that taking me? so considered the circumstances before you slap someone with " life is all about making the right choices " crap because so many of us made the right choices yet life is still hard on us.

Life is rather like this. It is not fair, it is not about working hard, it can be about making the right choice. However making the right choice is something that is subjective. There are times where making the right choice for you, can be a rather sneaky and underhanded choice. Sometimes you have to swim with the sharks and beat them at your own game. And really in the end, there are times where the world itself is just a miserable place. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and the most corrupt of us will get ahead. In the end, the saddest truth many realize that it doesn't really matter how good they are, past looking at themselves in the mirror in the morning. And being able to look yourself in the mirror sadly does not pay the bills. Those who work smart(some may say devious), are going to come out ahead.

I agree with you. It seems like the people who work the hardest get less than people who don't work hard. For example people who sit at a desk all day would make more than a day laborer even though the day labor work is much harder. Or, like in my area a police officer makes $8 an hour, but a person who works at Mc.Donald's and has worked there way up to manager makes a lot more than what a Police officer makes. Its weird and it makes no sense. I've always believed that eventually karma will catch up with you and you will receive all the good that you have given. So hopefully one day Karma will notice people like us. Like you I have had a very hard life, and I continue to still struggle in some areas of life. I've always tried to be a good person no matter what and no matter how much crap life has thrown at me. Many of us don't have a choice. No one chooses to be born poor or sick or to become abused. Sometimes as I'm certain you know life just gives us no choice, and than we are left to just try and do our best, even though sometimes our best is not even enough. All anyone can do is give whatever they do 100% and hope that's enough, because that's all you really can do.
