Going to Iloilo, Philippines

Why family and I are going to Iloilo in December this year. I need suggestions of the best place to go in Iloilo. We are planning are itinerary and we are in need of good suggestions. Thank you.

I'm from Iloilo City. The Iloilo Province is quite big and i don't know which part of Iloilo are you heading this December. Are you going to the Northern part, Western part? If you are staying in the city then there are nearby places you could go to. You could go to the Guimaras Island if you like white sand beach, corals, seafood and of course they have the best mango in the Philippines ever! Now if you're going to the Northern part, there's Sandbar island, a lot of resorts in Carles and in Estancia too.
If you want to do zipline, there's one near in the City and also one in Guimaras.

Thank you for responding. I'm not quite familiar with Iloilo. Can you recommend a hotel near the airport? Where is the airport, Northern or Western part? Thank you again.
