Hello everyone, I'm a happy owner of a new puppy. She 3 months old, plus eleven days (yes, I count it...) and she's a very loving puppy. Sometimes too loving- if you know what I mean... Here's the short version for those who don't know what I mean- 1) She love my feet; every time I come back from work- she storms at me- licking my toes like crazy. Sometimes when she encounter a random person (and I haven't caught her in time before she approach that person)his\her feet would become a licking target as well... that's the way she is. 2) She love people, anywhere, anytime... and if it's at 3 am and she hears people coming back from a party- she'll greet them from my room, by barking- demanding that I'll open the door and let her meet them. (and lick their toes of course...) 3) She is nosy... somehow- when I didn't notice... puppy developed a special likeness to noses. And by that I mean that she LOVES to stick her tongue into people's noses. Sometimes I wonder if she's one of those who look for gold with their fingers... 4) she love ears! she love it so much she manage to clean mine daily! (it's super tickling...) She has some other habits- like licking my face when I'm asleep or chew books, but I don't want to make the list too long... :) Anyway, if you have a crazy pet with bizarre habits- you're welcome to share it here. Thank you for reading!

I had a little dog once she didn't have any specifically crazy habits just usual dog stuff , like you know licking human being who might have been away from her and she also liked rubbing her molars against my pajamas , didn't bite them just rubbed her teeth against them , she also liked to tearing up clothes hung out side to be dried . Once she actually devoured the door mat, some of it was plastic synthetic rubber we had to take her to the emergency room . As for your puppy the whole licking feet and ears is quite normal a lot of dogs do that even among them selves . Consider yourself lucky if he spares your eye , that's right I'm taking of eyes , my friends dalmatian likes to cling his fore limbs to my chest while he attempts to lick my eyes , its a good thing he's had his shots cause you know eyes are like one of the most sensitive exterior organ its actually bad to have a human lick them, but anyways , you can get past all of that if you love'em enough.

I wear glasses so getting to my eyes is a bit difficult for her... she licks my glasses instead. :)

Well im not to sure that my dog has nay weird habits. He loves it when people are coming home from work and will approach us at the door and jump up to us and want some attention because he has been home all day by himself until the last person leaves for the day. He loves to lick and lick and lick and oh lick. Hes a lover in a big way. He does chase lizards around on the back porch and loves that and will spend along time doing this. He will sit at the front window on the recliner and look out most of the day till someone comes home and will probably bark at people passing and there has been a car lately and he gets frisky with the cat as well. ANNOYING.

It sounds to me like you have a very social dog there, always wanting to be very involved and with company. It can be great when they are like that. And if they like to lick and knibble on your ears, that's the best feeling ever! That makes a puppy a very good investment.
