Whenever I drove by the highway exit, I always saw those advertising sign on the roadside, telling people call this 1- 800 number, they can provide service to help fix your bad credit, and you won't have to worry about anything at all. I thought to myself, what kind of magic can they pull up to improve the credit score? The catch is, most of these service require you to pay upfront some hundred dollars. And I also heard that some might jack up your score in the first month, then after that, your score just dropped back to where they are, and they won't do anything about it after that. What do you think?

I tend to really treat such companies with a great deal of skepticism. I mean I am sure that there is some legit companies right out there that would be offering some great services. But it is really just one of those things where sometimes you just got to just wonder what the catch is. There are people out there with damaged credit ratings and would likely sell their arm to fix that.
Yeah, I tend to really just tend to look at those as false things, outright scams most of the time. It may even do more damage to your credit score in the long term for all we know. And obviously given that they want money, it does seem to contain some kind of racket. Some kind of scheme that exists to really lead people to believing this to be true. Then again, for some it might work, but will it be worth it in the end?
