Hey Guys! So this is the problem I am experiencing since last month. Sometimes my mouse cursor starts to move on its own..and most of the time it aims for the corners. I have scanned my PC with Norton Internet Security and MSE but still the problem is not solved. What would you like to suggest? Have you ever dealt with similar problem. What kinda bug is this and how to solve it? Thanks !

I think most probably it might be some kind of virus. I would suggest you to get a technician or a friend who knows about it and most probably they can fix it. Try various kinds of antiviruses and see if it can solve the problem.

It has more to do with the mouse. If you slammed the mouse its parts are shaken and cause it to send errant cursor movements to the computer. Get another mouse or fix it if possible.

Sounds like a mouse problem. Try cleaning the lens, changing mouse surface or try a different mouse to see if the problem remains.

there might be a problem with your mouse . perhaps you should change it. virus and trojans can't stay so long ..

I had same problem faced before. but that's nothing to do with virus. It must be your mouse or your mouse pad. if mouse pad is too old or not give proper surface to mouse this could occur. try different mouse or mouse pad.

It may not be virus but more likely a problematic mouse on your computer. If you are using external mouse then just change it to see if it works. If you are using laptop mousepad then perhaps its more troublesome to have to open it and fix it

It is caused by software you have loaded - whether you knew you loaded it or not! One cause is if the SnapTo feature of the IntelliType software is enabled. Check this Microsoft page if that might be the case - http://support.microsoft.com/KB/175400 If it is not that then un-install any software you may have loaded just before the symptons started, especially Windows automatic updates and any Hewlett Packard software (notoriously buggy)

I would suggest you to try another mouse. You may borrow first from your friend and if the problem won't show up using your friend's mouse, then the problem is your mouse is already defective, and you should buy a new mouse. Another way to check if your mouse is ok is try to connect it to other pc, if it works fine there, then the problem is not your mouse. It might be software related.
