First rain of the monsoon – do you enjoy rain like the 6 year old did? LOL

Hi,
We had experienced the t-storms, city blacked out (most parts for 4 hours), and traffic jam and it was the first seasonal rain.
I always love to get wet in rain and few like minded people from my neighborhood were already out from their houses.
We were having a good time and this six year boy who lives in my neighborhood was also excited and wanted to come out of his house but his mother told him (warned) not to go out in the rain. For a while he sat making sad faces…. but after 5 minutes we saw him coming out of his house wearing his raincoat – shouting at his mother - now I will not be wet! 
We had a good laugh and I was thinking about the little brain’s idea to be in the rain.
Do you have any such laugh due to rains?

hi viju,
it's also raining here in some part of our country
even I am 27 I still enjoy the rain as much I enjoyed it in my younger years sometimes it affects my mood too.....

Oh great bhaby... I am 42 and still enjoys rains, sun, winter and all the seasons.. In India we make fried onions mixed in flour called bhajiya, that goes too well as a side snacks with tea especially on a rainy evening..

Here, it is continous raining from several days. My town is full of water. Roads, drains, pools are looking same... i mean looks like a cloth of water. Communication is interrupted. We the servicemen are suffering a lot due to rain. I need sunny days again. Uuhhhhh....
No more passion on this gloomy rain.

Thanks for the rain song.. and hope you enjoy 'pyaar huaa ekraar huaa' or is it 'jo haal dil ka' - i can enjoy the rains even without the music. 
Oh, that's bad then no call from your would be?? I have just now loedged a comlaint at the Communication dept.... they say, they'll attend once the rain stops.

I love it when it rains.
I have so many memories during rainy season and this is one of my favorite season in the year as well.
This afternoon, it rains here in our place and we have power cut off due to electric faulty wiring and I enjoyed watching the linemen changing and fixing the wires.

Once, I wanted to soap in the rain. So when it started, I took my towel, the soap and even the shampoo to the rooftop. It started from a drizzle to a heavier rainfall. Excited, I started soaping and... by the time I was all soaped... the rain stopped
I had to climb downstairs to get to the bathroom for the shower and during that mom, and brother had some good laughs.
But still, I dont hesitate. Whenever I can I ensure that I get dripping wet in the rains (okay, so what I am suffering from arthritis, it cannot be stopped and so I cannot also stop my desire to drench). Oh, btw, do you play mud pools in the rains with your kids?

OH god.... that made you bath in the bathroom unexpected. LOL.
There is a ground in front of my house and in this season there is a water lodging but it is not good water (and full of musquitos too) but the kids play in that with their bicycle. Of course i make sure they have their bath after those play but no mudpools.

I love playing in the mud pools... specially jumping on those muddy areas when others are passing by
and had a good scolding from my dad the other day, when it was dark and I wasnt sure that he was coming from the other way... but these things help me live the child within me. Not sure for how many days more... but I see this trend dying due to many other factors.
Wait. Maybe it would be good if we can plan some meeting during this or next rain and enjoy out for good

viju, nice to hear that you enjoyed the rain a lot. I too enjoyed this kind of rain previously a lot, but now a days i don't have time to enjoy rain as well as here is no rain, we are missing it.

Well, to me personally, I do not really like the rain. However, I must tell you that in my city, will be crossed by three heatwaves. Incidentally we are entering in summer. When there are so hot these days, I must say that I am suffering in particular. Just then I would prefer a few drops of rain.
