Standing out from others is not easy

I have been to different interviews already and I found out that the competition in the market nowadays is getting harder specially if your looking for a job. Imagine how many percent of the student who finish college and ready to look for a job. I am not sure if the companies are looking for fresh new ideas or energetic employees eager to work or if they are looking for those who already have experience but have come to age. I have been working for over 8 years and been with 3 companies already. I am looking for a better opportunity but its hard to find a job that suited your qualifications. There are companies who likes you but cannot afford the salary you are getting, so they tend to reject you and hire those who are new that could accept lower basic salary. What do you think should be the basis in getting a job?

Getting an interview is hard enough these days, but standing out from the crowd is even harder particularly when you might be nervous. You should firstly make sure that you're dressed very smartly, even if you're finding that you have to over dress a little bit. The more effort you've made, the more chance I think that you'd have. You should also make sure that you have as much information about the company as possible, as it will be impressive to the person who is interviewing you if you know about their policies without having to ask them about it from the beginning.

I think that employers should test the competences of the people they want to hire. Of course, it is quite hard to find the perfect employee, but there should be some objective criteria before hiring someone. And a competence test would be the best, I think. I am working for over six years in the same company, and I have tried to find another job. But all the interviews I've participated to had questions like: what motivates you, how would you describe ..., what do you think about... Of course, they are good to show your personality and your thinking, but they do not show in any way your professional skills.

The basis for getting a job is the one that would not only give you fair income, but also the one that would help you develop your personality on a given field of specialization. The one that would develop you as a whole. I found my kind of job already.

I think that becomes the basis for finding a job is the ability and knowledge in mastering the various fields of science and technology. and that is not less important is how we establish communication and interact so they can get a relation.
