What's the very first thing that you check once you open your computer?

Okay, so I've noticed lately that I've been getting more and more addicted to the computer. I find this really cute and clever. What's the first thing that you check once you open your computer? I didn't really pay attention until last night when I decided to bookmark my Facebook. And when I made a shortcut of Angry Birds game on my desktop. Hahaha!!!! I never really care about tools and options on my browser and on my computer.
But the very first thing I check once I open my computer is the TIME. I guess it has become a habit. At work and when I get home. Of course at work, I need to log in and check the time. I get home at around 1 or 2 A.M. (my shift's weird, it's afternoon till 11).So, I'd look at the time on my notebook, whether I got home early or not. (I wanna know if I can surf the net longer. LOL!)Then, the next things I checked would be my Facebook and then I'd play Angry Birds.
What about you guys?

When I am at work, the first time I am checking is the server if it is running good because that is the one providing internet to all the computers in our institution. The next thing I am checking is the cctv cameras if they are working. Then on my pc, the first thing i visit in my browser is YahooMail, since I have there my primary email account. Good day!

Usually, the first thing I check (as the time is ALWAYS visible on my desktop's lower-right corner) is my email for new YouTube uploads, new mailing-list mails & new myLot posts.
Although sometimes I check the weather if I'm going out that day.

I used to check my mails first when I am in work then turn on the music then check an open the internet sites that i used to visit like mylot, facebook and others sites.

First of all i will look all the online earnings to look out the earning updates. I an very eager to know it and this is what i usually does.

When I log onto my laptop I go to my emails first and keep these open so I can see other emails coming in a little later on. Then I go to My Lot to find some interesting typing to do. Later in the evening I go to catch up television and I prefer 4 on Demand. It can have some great documentaries on it. I often go on a name the different countries game and it is superb. I don't go on Face Book very often but respond to messages from it coming from my email system. My Lot is my favorite site to go to.

I always, without fail, check Facebook first! I'd check my email and blog too, but those notifications get sent to my phone so I don't have any reason to...No surprises. :( I ended up deleting the Facebook app off my phone and disconnected it from my email due to so many notifications, so I'm always surprised when I log on from my phone or from the computer. I like it better that way anyways!

That's so weird duty shift you have. I am wondering what work are you at.. Hmm.. when I open my notebook, I then check my facebook. I am not that active there.. but I am just looking for any private messages.. I also check the page of our group in my online job.. I just want to get updated if the site is still alive.. Anyway, after that I'll check my mail.. Then when I see a message coming from mylot.. I then comment into that certain discussion if it interests me. Then when I get bored. I open my twitter.. then post something that goes my mind there. And that's it.. that's what I usually do when I surf the internet..
Same as you, I also get addicted to internet lately.. and this is maybe because I don't have my class yet..

I check to see how much money I've earned from the previous day. It's become my ritual and its frustrating when the sites i use don't post my earnings fast enough.

I used to check my yahoo mail just to know if there some mail from my friends and updates that I received for the day. After reading all my mails I login in here in Mylot to start a discusson or respond to every discussion that caught my attention. Sometimes when I am bored and my mind is tired I used to play Plants vs. Zombies just to relax my mind and make myself busy.

Definitely my Facebook. I don't know why, I don't really get much notification but its still my first place to go once i log on to my computer. Then, I would go on tumblr. Love that site so much, gives me inspiration everyday. Then I would log on to my experts column to check on my views and earnings than if I have extra time, I would come to mylot and answer some questions :)

I always check the weather the very first thing. Especially this time of year, when violent weather is common here in Florida. Plus we are trying very hard to get a good garden this year, so I need to know how hot, humid, and if there will be any rainfall so I can water.
