What would you do in the name of "God"?

I see it all the time. People do crazy, and sometimes deadly things in the name of "God" Literately, a character from a book. Some people might disagree, but these are the facts. People give away lots of money.

I don't know how far I could go doing things in the name of God but I believe the better question for me would be, What wouldn't you do in the name of God? For that question I have a list.

I would do just about as much in the name of God as I would in the name of harry potter.

In the name of God by whatever name is He known and whatever faith by which He is being revered and honored...I would prefer doing virtuous deeds, trying not to hurt others .

I agree, if you must do something in honor of fictional characters, at least do something good.
