Why can't they continue?

Why do they have to bother with this stupid remake and what is most likely going to be a sequel to that, why can't they just continue with the original series. Maybe do some more VS. movies? I hate how these studios remake everything. It is a waste of time and money. They should continue, not show us what we have already seen, make something new. What do you think?

I am thinking it must be because the peoples today do not have he intellect to appreciate the depth of the television shows from times go by. Like The Flintstones, the Scooby Dooby Doo, the Brady Bunch, The Planet of the Apes and so many more. I have noticed that when the studios do the 'remakes' it lacks the depth of these classic shows. Could it be that the audience is perceived to lack that much intelligence? Or is it that the studios are just such dumbarses?

I think that they are attempting to bring the magic to a new audience and new generation, which is stupid, because the remakes are not magic at all, they are crap. If they really want a new audience make a good sequel, and they will see it and want to see all the ones before it.

Yes, I agree that they are not good at all.
Did you see the new "Fright Night?" I was disgusted by it. Why even call it "Fright Night"?!?!
