Hello Lotters, He has finally returned to the country, and I must say am proud of what he did. I thought he's gonna stick around more to aid and comfort with his people in Saranggani Province. but that's not new since he's a Public Servant too and should GO THERE to begin. What caught my attention was his newly bought chopper that cost 50k Thousand Dollars or 18m Million Pesos ( i think ). the reason is that, it's more fast and able for him to send supplies using his private chopper (wow) , what do you think? was it logical for him to use a chopper?

When I heard the news, i thought It's Manny's gift for his mom. But I was actually a bit surprised when it was mentioned that the 2nd hand helicopter is a gift for himself, why? because why settle for 2nd hand when he can very well afford to buy a brand new one?

Hello Ybong, I wonder how can her mom pilot a Helicopter, unless she's not afraid of heights . maybe the second hand was more less expensive than the original. Remember he still got the fare share of 26m so i think that enough for him to buy a second hand chopper, maybe the 2nd hand he bought still in good condition

Hi Letran, I have no objection for the chopper. Anyway, it is his money, he got more money than Bradley even if he "lost" the fight. It is money from the people who expected him to win, paying for the view on cable TV all around the world, it is the money of the gullible who think that his performance is that of a real champion that he is perceived to be. We should know better. We get to great lengths believing in the professionalism of the game, that the best fighter wins and not the other way around. A man should win not for the money but for the hard-earned conviction of using his training to get the best result. If it comes to staging the game for money, then, the whole process is not worth my time. It is his money, I have to reiterate, money he got from playing a drama on the boxing stage for the promotion of getting more money for the producers, the pay per view and the whole business involved around it. Next fight around, I would not waste my breath shouting for the drama champ no more.

Hello Rog0322, Hahaha I understand what you're saying here. some people believed that Manny knew this but he didn't care anymore, as long as the money comes along. we all know he won that fight but i guess they some how rigged for the next match. or maybe it was really something in him that changed. though it's really easy to think that manny was part of it, some how i doubt he can just act like that, this isn't wrestling..one thing is for sure, people will think hard whom to bet

Stopped watching the drama a long time ago. I am not earning any cent from watching it. Although, he has my respect and admiration when it comes to his true profession – boxing.

i think its alright given his status, he can surely afford it and he can use it very efficiently since Saranggani is far from manila. i was even thinking of a private jet later..haha

Hello grayxenon, Yes he can afford, in fact he even bought an entire island from what i heard! i agree that saranggani is very much far from Manila. well, i hope not, it's not practical for a public to have that with the country so poor, they might criticize him for it. i think the helicopter is more practical

The news says, the chopper was a gift for himself. So I guess, whatever he use it for, it's none of our business. He used his personal money to buy the chopper, so he can do anything with it.

Hello Jsae, Yes it was a gift for himself, it's the best way for him to use it where ever he goes.you're right, it's not like he bought it out of his government salary, he use his own money from all the years that he got from his boxing career so i think it's his right to buy it. but relying on gas, and an expensive maintenance.

As much as I like the thought of giving one’s gift to himself, I guess I too cannot complain because he said that the chopper came from his own pocket. What makes me tick is that if this kind of thing should be paraded around. I know Manny is rich, probably far richer than myself and others that I know. I am glad that he chose to make it serviceable to other who need it.. My beef is with the media. I do not think that ay kind of gift should be plastered and aired in every conceivable medium. I believe it should be private because it is private. The media flaunts that only Manny is rich in this part of the town. l would like to believe that he also like to have some privacy of his own. Being rich is ironically hard – people love and adore you but they can also hate you in return, just for money.

Hi LK25, For me it is always logical because he bought it from his own pocket not from government fund.. ( haha ), he is just enjoying the fruits of his labor and attached to it is his intention of being more effective servant of his province. Saranggani people are so lucky of having Manny...Cheers to that!

Hello cttolledo, I guess so, he's buying stuff that takes years of our regular salaries. yeah, you're right they are so lucky to have Manny as their public servant. but with his money maybe he can help them deal with this flood by making a project with his money to keep them from getting any more floods

Well I am quite confused what is his purpose for buying this since he said it was a gift for himself. I think it may be practical for him to travel from one place to another using his own chopper. he won't be relying with the old helicopters that our governments own at least.

He deserved to have it he has a lot of money and this is the way he can serves his people like what he did when he got home and saw his people are in danger because of the floods. I also heard that he is buying a land and make houses for the people who lost homes because of the typhoon.

Hi there LetranKnight25, With reference to what you posted, I think its fine if Manny Pacquiao both an exclusive chopper for his use. Hence, he has the money to buy one for his comfortability. And it is his own right to use it since it is his own money that came from his perseverance and ability. And he has a point on buying one, if he has the chopper, it will be easy for him to look on his constituents status especially if a hard rain fall on the vicinity of his location.

People who work hard, have foresight and ambition and faith in God would get their heart's desire and I am very happy for our Champ. Maybe he should donate an aircraft carrier, perhaps a submarine, nah way too expensive maybe just another chopper to our military for rescue efforts
