I wax my own eyebrows. I used to have this woman do my eyebrows but sence we moved away i had to come up with a way to do my own without having to spend alot because to me 10 dollars for an eyebrow wax is too much to spend.
When we moved, i found someone to do my eyebrows but she did it all wrong. Maybe it was because she didn't know english that well...i got a little upset and didn't pay but the next day i came back and spoke to her, someone was there to translate me to her, and she said she was sorry and she'll do a free wax and i gave her 4 dollars it was half of what she wanted for the job...
and now i dont have to wait for a wax job anymore! i found this DIY wax kit from CVS pharmsy and i can now do it myself!
I don't know about u but when i go outside my home with my eyes looking like sasquash-ish i just feel all gross..and i was always embarrased and now i dont!
My face is baby smooth for up to 6 weeks and im soo glad!
so my question to mylot peeps is....do u wax or pluck ur eyebrows-or neither?

Hello verolop,
I prefer waxing to those unwanted hairs. It lasts a longer and it feels smoother and neat when waxed.I don't pluck my eyebrows friend I can't stand the pain.
But waxing in my place is very affordable though!
I'm happy you saved a lot for to your eyebrow waxing. And that the most of it there's not much to spend either because you can do it yourself now.
Great day friend!

ooo i know! when i was younger about 2 yrs ago, i went to my 1st salon and it hurt and my brow was red and i didn't like it but i got used to it!
when i was 1st introduced to eye plucking, i didnt like it. so i had a roomate do it for me and she made it a little more doable by tightening my brow skin and it helped. did u ever...like before u did it yourself...get it done by someone who had fish breath aka bad breath?! neither did i and thank goodness i didnt! i would have emptied my stomach right then and there! hehe

I have tried having my eyebrows waxed but I didn't like it. Next, I have tried eyebrow threading and it hurts like hell! Now, I have stayed with plucking my eyebrows to keep them in shape. At first, it hurts but after the third time, the pain has subsided and now, it no longer hurts.

Hi Verolop29,
Sometimes I pluck and sometimes I wax it. I used to have it done to a salon, but when I've got disappointed to two salon's I trained myself doing it alone..It doesn't cost me anything and its more safe, no worries...
Happy mylotting....

Hey Verolop29,Same situation was happening with me.Few months before i came to lived in Taiwan. Here most people cannot understand English.I went to a parlor to pluck my eyebrows and the lady did it wrong. At that time i was so upset because my face was turned into a different look.Next time i went that parlor again with one of my previous photo where my eyebrows was exactly plucked. This time the lady did not do anything wrong. She had exactly done what i want.
When i read your article it reminds me that occurred situation.
