I have not been on a family vacation in a very long time. me and my husband have been married almost 3 years now i want to book our first vacation for next summer. first we have 3 small children (3 1/2, 2, and 4 months)so the beach we go to has to be family friendly unlike infamous panama city. what beach would you recommend ive never been to one other than panama which i will not take my children to. any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated.

Hello peachmom2369 I have vacationed at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina many times. It is a very nice beach with plenty to do and is very focused on families. The only down side to it is that it can be crowded (driving.) There are bicycle paths all over the island as well as plenty of bicycle rental places and they will deliver the bikes to where you are staying. When my children were small I would rent these bikes (very reasonable rates), place my children on the back (three boys) in bicycle seats and a bicycle trailer, and zip around the island. Another great beach is Cumberland Island National Seashore, off the Georgia coast. However, there are no hotels there and it is more involved. This would make a great destination when your children are a bit older. It's a magnificent beach and a great place!! I hope that you're able to find something for your family. Peace. I love the world!

hi peachmom! mr. psychoartist and i and our dog the princess are very fond of amelia island, florida...it is a quieter beach and is very beautiful...we enjoy privacy and quiet...there are plenty of places to stay there too and restaurants and fun things for families...mr. psychoartist and i were married on hunting island, south carolina, outside beaufort, south carolina...it is a beautiful practically secluded and natural looking beach, not as much to do there as regarding restaurants, etc., but safe and pleasant for families...we found it after a trip to folly beach, south carolina, which was noisy, crowded, and unpleasant...it was such a beautiful beach and experience that we decided to have our marriage ceremony there....happy traveling, and i hope you have a wonderful vacation!

Why not try Florida? And may be Georgia? Perhaps You can check tourist websites of SouthEast United States.

A picture of the resort in Florida. - I took a picture of the resort where we were. I loved it.
I have gone to many beaches in Florida. I have a timeshare, so I have stayed in apartments at awesome resorts. I went once with my daughter, her husband and 2 grandsons (very active, one 4 and the other one 2). We had no problem and the best of it was that the children ate what they were acustomed to at the right hours. There were pools, entertainments for all ages and a beach close by. I don´t think they accept pets though (I never saw one) and the apartment was no smoking. I paid about $1200 a week for an awesome and big place. It´s worth it, as I did not have to spend more more in food than what I spend at home. I´ll post a picture here. Take care.
