My sister bought this boxed brownies the other day. Shes been wanting to making it but she simple cant make it (she seriously screws everything up). I jut got home and was cutting up veggies for my supper, she gave my the brownies and asked for me to make them. I mean seriouusly how hard is cracking an egg, and measuring water , and pouring into a pan. The icing is an old recipe my grandma makes, its sugar, vanilla, milk, and cocoa. They are so impatient to wait for the icing to thicken, they put it in the freezer, and now reheating it putting icing sugar in it.

But i stop it since i moved here in my town when i noticed that my electric bill get so high and i cannot afford to pay it alone. You are correct it doesn't take rocket science to make a box mix of brownies. There are alot of people who are intimidated by baking, but one would think the box mix takes quite a bit of the fear of making something that's pretty normal baked good.

hi ricki! as a brownie connosieur, i don't blame your sister for introducing the idea of baking brownies to you! brownies are the ultimate...especially with vanilla ice cream or a cold glass of milk! fortunately, mr. psychoartist can bake brownie as well...he and i take turns with the brownie baking....i have baked oatmeal cookies a few weeks ago, but they lacked something so i have bought some chocolate chips to add to them next...bon appetit!

Why buy something she knows she can't fix? Oh well atleast you were nice enough to make it. I can't say I wouldn't try to speed up the thickening process myself, but I'd probably put it in the fridge to keep, not the freezer. I saw a recipe on facebook today that I've got to look back up, I want to make it sometimes. It's a simple peanut butter fudge recipe.

I so love brownies. I can consume 2 dozens of it in just one sitting. I love brownies with frosting or with nuts on top. Yum! Yum! I love to eat brownies but i am not good in making it just like your sisters. There are people who aren't born to bake.
