If both matter and void are part of the Universe, where is it expanding to?..Is there something beyond our Universe?...

universe is infinite. nothing exists beyond it as per the scientists say
matter and energy are interchangeable so excess matter changes to energy and vice versa according to the conservation of mass and energy principal. and i read it somewhere that one day everything will be soaked in black holes. nothing can survive them.they tends to get bigger and bigger as the time passes
thank you,

I have heard that small black holes can absorb bigger black holes. And they say small black holes can exist for a really small time before they get vaporized.
If this is so only smaller black holes will survive, which eventually get vaporized.
So Universe will become non existent, like it was before Big Bang. Then Big Bang happens and the process continues. So there is no beginning no end...how about this.? :)

nobody knows wat's gonna happen in the end and also what existed before.
they say that nothing comes out of nothing and as they traced back to the past they stuck on the question ' what existed before big bang ?'
so i don't really know what to answer:(
you might wanna read about string theory which is a little complicated to understand but it's quite satisfactory.
it says everything we see is just an illusion.i read a few months back i think i need to read it again :p

Another of those unanswerable questions! If there was nothing before the big bang, what actually went bang? Or for the religious, If God created the universe, where did he live before?
If there is so much free space, why are houses so expensive?
Is there something beyond the universe? Yes, but it doesn't know it's the universe yet!

Some people say that there is no 'before' Big bang,Time came to existence at the 'time' of Big bang, like it was '0' then. This negates the contribution of a creator who needs time to create anything.Because there is no telling if it is created or not created,if there is no time.
