Was math discovered or invented

Good question. I would have to say discovered. It was always there but it took someone or many someones to put it together. It would be like a puzzle. When you are done did you invent it or did you just put it together? Another example might be people "discoverying" America. If people were all ready there when you got there, did you actually discovery it or did they? Very good question and open for good debate.
