What should I do, if I posted a similar discussion to an old one?

If I posted a discussion similar to an old discussion? Should I delete mine,or I'll just wait for the mylot admin to delete it? Will it affect the members that replied on it? I have to admit I just posted a similar discussion to an old one, it has almost the same title but the contents aren't the same. I didn't search for it which I keep on forgetting to do, and I certainly didn't copy it. Don't worry I searched for this one. :)

Was the old discussion initiated by you? If not,then I think,you needn't worry.Discussions on the same topics are often repeated in Mylot.You won't have to delete it.The content of both the discussions are not the same.So don't delete it.The only thing you should keep in mind is that it should not violate Mylot guidelines.

Thank you else22, hi 3honor, I tried to report it but I changed my mind because the report abuse is suppose to be for post with abusive content, my post didn't include anything abusive. Although it has a similar title from the other one, it has a different content and question. The responses are also different, so I guess, I'll just live it to the other users and/or to the admin to judge it. thank you

I think the mods here will delete it for you. If you make duplicates of any form, they seem quite efficient in getting rid of it for you.
I've never seen moderators as good as the ones here. They are always quick to clear any problems and comments which violate the rules.
In short, don't worry about it :)

Personally there are a lot of the same type of discussions being posted here all the time. Is it exactly like someone else's or just worded the same title? I think a lot of it depends on what the subject matter is, etc. as what is Best to do. But when in doubt I have asked for mine to be deleted. or wait to see if it is.
