Choose your friends...advice to son

I always tell my son to choose his friends but lately I noticed that some of his friends are quite unruly. I don't want him to get into trouble. And I don't want him to be friends with them. What should I tell my son? I also don't want him to feel that I'm over protective.

I think it depends on ur sons age but I would talk to him about who are ur friends parents? Does their mom know they act like that? If these kids are in ur house they can go home n my son can stay here. I would try to meet the mom at least once. That way u could say I know ur mom.

You have to teach him to be his own man. Just because his friends act unruly doesn't mean he has to. You can always tell him you don't want him hanging around trouble makers, and let him know the kind of trouble he can get himself into.
