I want suggestions from mylottres about making a site

I like a site in which adsense should be integrated, because i want to make money.So please guys tell about your experience.What kind of site should i have? An article directory but it needs some more investments and my budget is not very big.

If you want to monetize your blog/website the best thing is to work towards generating traffic then you can think of making money later on. You will hardly make any money unless you have good traffic. Any site/niche is capable of generating some income.

I know that traffic is must.But i have gone through many articles i saw written words like content is king.can i copy articles from goarticles or other sites.

No. You need to have original content that you have written. Copying other people contents will lead to your blog getting penalized. May be starting a directory as you had said could help since people will be submitting their websites/articles hence you do not need to write.
