Lately (in the last month) I have this constant feeling that I need to throw up. I am eating well, three times a day and even have a snack here and there. This is really bugging me because I was always afraid of such disorders... I thought it might be due to pressure or some other thing but I'm afraid I'm starting to develope somekind of eating disorder. Any ideas\recommendations?

Hello Jimeny,i think your case either suggests: A. it seems that you are having early symptoms of bulemia, people like these like to throw up after they eat, they somehow have low self-esteem even if people see that they are gorgeous in every way, they are preoccupied with food and how they look but usually, somehow they still feel like there is something missing. or B. you are having some GI upset problems that will go away after sometime, Don't worry too much though, since it seems like its a B in your case, which is sometimes a normal side effect when you are taking medications, and if the condition worsens, it would be best if you would consult a medical specialist in the matter. But if you think its an A, then you have to talk to somebody knowledgeable about the matter and/or consult a new psychiatric book, it might be helpful. Best wishes to you.:)

In order for you to be diagnosed with an eating disorder, there are other signs and symptoms that need to be present but not only vomiting such as change in self esteem etc. Most people suffering from bulimia will eat alot (binging) and then vomit thereafter eating. In your case, you seems to be eating normally and you understand what is happening to you. I would suggest to you to seek medical help if the feeling persists. Other medical conditions can cause such a feeling.

jimeny sometimes some medications our doctors give us for an ailment cause the side effect of nausea. I would see my doctor and let him ferret out what is causing the nausea. if it is a medication your doctor can replace it with a different one that will not cause the side effects of nausea. I had nausea following a bad fall in which I was hospitalized with a twisted knee. the pain medication I was given caused me nausea so I was given a small pill to stop the nausea from happening.first step in something like that is see your family doctor.

It could be a disorder, but it could also be some illness that have not surfaced yet. My suggestion would be for you to be more particular in what you eat and do not overeat or otherwise. Just eat when you really needs to and in your case, try to find some ways to relax and see how things go. If there is improvements after a while then it is not anything serious, but if this persists even after a long period of time, then perhaps you should see a doctor for professional advice.

Oh, It is not good when you eat a lots and many times in a day. I do take 3 meals a day only, no snakes, no eating at midnight if i stay up late...it is my habit and i am not interested with eating out of my main meals. You can do like that..when you want to eat something, you can drink water...or working something that makes you forget eating temporarily.

Maybe it is normal for this season. If you feel like a little eating disorder, you could drink more water and have some light food, After eating it is good for you to have a walk in the park.
