What would you do if you had a disabled/retarded baby? it is said that disabled/retarded kids cost about twice as much as a regular kid would cost. i am wondering what most people would do these days. would you keep it? leave it at the hospital? give it to adoption? or ...?

I wouldn't leave my child at the hospital & I wouldn't give it up for adoption! I don't care what problems my child has, it's my child. You can't put a price on a child.. and saying, well you just cost to much, is wrong.. What if you do have a healthy child and then 5 years later your child developes cancer or something? That will end up costing LOTS of money as well, as you put it... Would you give your child up then? I don't think so... so it does both ways... Someone that would answer yes to this and the reason being the child cost to much, is probably young and immature... ALL CHILDREN COST money, whats a little extra for your child?
