You can only use the Wifi connection to be online if your iPad 3 is the Wifi version. However, if you buy iPad 3 3G, then you can insert a phone card to it and you can also use it to get online when there is no Wifi signal around you. I love China

I have the new iPad, and I have to say that I much prefer it. I have the WiFi version, because I knew that I wouldn't use it outside of the house. If you want to use it anywhere that you wouldn't be able to connect to a WiFi network then you would have to choose the 3G version and pay for data. I think that it is great that you have decided to get an iPad though because they are brilliant and without doubt one of the best things that I have ever bought in my life. I will certainly be getting the new one when it is released because I like to keep up to date with the way in which things are going on.

If you buy Ipad 3 with wi-fi only, then you can use only it at the places where there are wi-fi connections. So it is better to buy Ipad with wi-fi and 3G so that you can access internet from any place using a 3G SIM.
